Well, it's already time to start the early planning of the offseason meeting day. A couple of options have come up, so here we go:

Siam Orchid - We had it there last year. Great food, great hospitality. Location was a little too far away for most people. (Alexandria, KY)

Cincinnati Mills - We could have an offseason blues party there. They have a jr. coaster as well as carnival-style rides and attractions.

You pick a location...

I'll vote on Siam Orchid. The party room has been upgraded and bow has a karaoke machine and stage. It would enhance our meeting.

By the way, I vote for the Cincinnati Mills thingy. I went there yesterday and I am just shocked at how different things look! There new Putt-Putt golf course (Lunar Golf) will be opening "Holidays 2004" or so the sign says. Myself, I wanna ride the Centipede Train!!

This is what happens when the boyfriend walks with the parade, and I see it everyday, we memorize it and annoy one another with it-- even after the thing is LOOOOOONG gone.

Speaking of the Nickelodeon Parade, I video-taped it. Hence, if we hold the event at Siam Orchid or another facility that'd allow us to use a TV and VCR, we can watch it!

Plus, I have on videotape my son Antonino on the first rides of his life: Quick Draw's Railway, the Kings Island and Miami Valley Railroad, and the Eiffel Tower. I even have Baby Chef meeting Scooby Doo on video tape.

Me a proud father? Nah. :thumbsup:

Thats another idea! We could all bring video that we took from the park during the season. Or some pics or something to share. Just something for us to drool over until the park opens back up...with the minis!!!

It would be nice to meet everyone. I have not voted you will have to give me a day and time first. I have been working alot.

Also if you do bring a TV with a tape or DVD to it I can bring the rest of my old video so everyone can see it. You can ride all of the coasters in the park. Here are the list of coasters in the video Vortex, Best, Backwards Racer, King Cobra, Top Gun, and AE with all the effects when it opened. Also it has the old and first water works in it. Both tapes are about one hour and 30 sec. long. None of the coasters videos have sound to them. Just a Idea

Regardless of where it's at, I'll try to make it. Will there be an on-premise PKIC meeting this season?

Dont be dissing Cincinnati. I live out side the city luckey. Anyway there is lots to see at the park. YOu got all the rides torn apart. And plus pictures just are not the same.

How about a place called Lazer Kraze? They have a location right across from PKI. We could play some laser tag, eat soe piza...it'll be like we're all in middle school again!

Here is an idea. How about?

1. We meet at a restaurant near PKI on I-71 exit 25. There are quite a few. We can shop around for one with a TV and VCR that we can use.

2. I'm all for Dirty's Steve's Lazer Tag idea.

3. Let's see if we can get a park representative to give us a 30 or so minute walking tour of the park. I doubt it, but wouldn't it be cool if we could take an Eiffel Tower ride to the top?
