Guests will relish this gore fest as the diabolical killer wreaks havoc and splatters blood across the big screen and the guests in Paramount Theatre. If you don't like blood and gore, don't go. PKI's trying to make it more intense and freakish, and I applaud them for it. The more fog, blood, dismembered limbs, and escaped mental patients the better. I can't wait for Fear Fest!
PKI Punk
I just hope that the park has more characters actually walking around the park this year. Last year I went and I didn't see a d@mn character AT ALL! I was very angry. :censored:
Dane
Don't worry, from what I have been told, FearFest will rock your socks off this year.

Why I hate to burst your bubble this sounds so lame I never understood why does PKI want FearFest to be nasty I mean Its a so called Family Park. I remember the very first FearFest it was very enchanting for the whole family but I agree with greenghost it's getting worse and lamer every year this year's FEARFEST will suck Its not everybody idea of a good FearFest to see blood&gore and to be scared.I think I will contine to skip FearFest because it's going to suck
Ryan
Well, if you don't like getting scared, just go during the day. They have lots of really cool things for the kids and some nice theming to boot. Just be sure to leave before the park turns evil, which I might add is something I hope they return to doing. Back a couple years ago, when you had to pay to get into Fear Fest, if you rode rides during the day then bought your wristband you would see the park's tv screens say "STAND BY" and then they would start flashing with lighting sounds, and the park got darker and darker and foggier and foggier and monsters started coming out. They even had a recording that started out with this guy saying, "attention ladies and gentlemen, Fear Fest is about to begin..."and then his voice would get really deep and evil and it'd say"the scariest, most intense haunted attraction in the midwest". I thought it was really cool.
Scooby_Doo
Hey scary stuff is everyone's cup of tea I never liked horror movies nor being scared. I just always wanted to know if PKI is a family park then why do they have so much ''evil'' themed rides for fearfest at night? Nahhh Iam not going to fearfest all this year because I hate going to PKI during Fearfest because I always get kinda sad seeing all the leaves on the trees in the park turning color makes me realize how fast time flies by when your having fun.I think you should still pay to get in to fearfest thats one of the main reasons it sucked so bad last year it was to d@mn crowed.I was at the first couple of fearfests those ruled compared to this and last years sucky jobs. Mr. Christopher
Like Ryan said, just go during the day if you don't like getting scared. Personally, I like getting a good scare and a laugh. If rattles the senses and checks up on your perception. The new attractions sound fresh and are something I'd want to check out. Delirium13
Hey scary stuff is everyone's cup of tea I never liked horror movies nor being scared. The after dark portion of FearFest is not recommended for young children or anyone that does not enjoy being scared. ^ From the FearFest Website. If you don't like being scared then don't go or go during the day. But on the otherhand I can't wait to go. It's going to be AWESOME! Jason Bourne
Fear Fest was a waste. I went one time and that was last year. You could barely go on anything. All the stuff looked great but the lines were so long. I think the only thing we got to ride was The Racer.
Captain Morgan
Its not everybody idea of a good FearFest to see blood&gore and to be scared.I think I will contine to skip FearFest because it's going to suck Not to be harsh, but are you completely clueless??? I mean seriously, listen to yourself. Taken from the dictionary: Fear - A feeling of agitation and anxiety caused by the presence or imminence of danger. So when they call something fearfest it is because they want to make you scared and afraid. You, greenghost, and that other one need to realize that just because you guys don't like to be scared doesn't mean that Fearfest sucks. I, and I'm sure many other people on this site too, are tired of hearing you guys say everything sucks because it doesn't have Scooby Doo or Spongebob in it, or it isn't for little kids so it sucks. From what I see, Fearfest is going to be great this year. Check out the Fearfest picture in the PKIC gallery; it looks like they are returning to the quality theming they had the first year. I am very excited about this event and I hope that the people on this site who don't like Fearfest would just shut their yap because it is very annoying. Dane
Once again, may I remind you. Fearfest this year will rock your socks off. You see, all your comments on last year were gathered and discussed on how to make your experience better for next year (which is now this year). More theming will be added around the park. You will see walking zombies. To solve the line problem, more attractions have been added to distribute guests more.
ZosoBeast
Believe it or not, I have never been to a fearfest. Well, I mean I have been AT the park while it was going on, but never went to any of the attractions. This year will be my first actual Fearfest visit as I will be at the park both the 2nd and the 3rd of october. I am kinda looking forward to the "Friday The 13th" project in the theater. King Bowser
Thats the only thing IF I go to PKI for fearfest I will stear clear of because Friday the 13th isnt my thang!
upstop
Even though I hate slasher movies, I like the idea and will give it a try. It sounds like "Honey I shrunk the audience, without the 3d.....or maybe with the 3d. Wasn't there one version of Friday the 13th in 3d? Do you think the Sleepy Hollow maze will be in Rivertown, perhaps in the arcade area?
BoddaH1994
I don't remember them having anything in Rivertown in the past. Mainly Coney Mall. Dane's right, though. I'm sure PKI realizes that Fearfest wasn't the best experience last year, and they seem to know what they're doing, so I can't wait to see the improvements made this year. I think they'll take leaps in the right direction.
