Dane
Since there is no trip reports out of Kings Island this time of year... Check out the rest of them on my Flickr.
Kawana
That looks like good old Hara Arena. I had no idea that a toughman was going on over there... Weird that I didn't see/hear anything about it.... darn, where was everybody??? Did they also not know?
BoddaH1994
LoL... I think he took that photo when they were setting up.
Dane
That was taken 2 hours before the show.
The Interpreter
Yes, but were you just an observer, or did you also participate as a fighter, referee or Dippin Dots salesguy?
King Maple The Tree King
Did Hara Arena get new seats lately?
CoastersNSich
Those seats look like the same ones that have always been there... I went to Hara Arena in 2002 when the Dayton Bombers were in the playoffs, and the Nutter Center was already previously booked. Not too impressive, but at least I can say I've been there. "Bill Goodmans, gun and knife show, call a buddy, bring a friend" I've always preferred the old homely arenas to the newer ones. Kind of like how I much prefer the Cincy Gardens over US Bank Arena. Browntggrr
Ring girls are great. But what on God's green Earth is with the pink and black laced leg thingies?

Ryan, you know, that I prefer the Gardens to the Bank Arena as well, especially for hockey, but have you been to Hara Arena? That place makes the Gardens look like Nationwide Arena. I played hockey there once awhile ago and it was like skating through puddles, the ice was terrible. The last time I was there was probably 4 years ago to see a friend play, and the place was still a dump. Back when the WHA was formed as a rival to the NHL, Cincinnati was given a team due to the construction of the, then new, Riverfront Coliseum. Dayton was to receive a franchise called the Dayton Aeros, but the owner felt that even at that time Hara Arena was not adequite, so he moved the team to Houston. I saw a concert there back in 1985-the Firm-and security was awful. The crowd was pushing against the stage trying to get to Jimmy Page, and we almost got suffocated-in fact they pulled my friend out of the crowd and we spent the night at first aid. I barely got out myself. And then when I approached a security guard to find out where she was being taken, he got in my face and cussed me. So I don't have very good thoughts on Hara at all-and besides that the floor is sticky.
Kawana
Still weird that I didn't hear anything about it all. Usually you hear something, at least...
