Jackson Faces Foreclosure On Neverland (Again)

Featured Replies

If you can look past all the craziness, it sounds like the place itself, as an amusement park, had a decent 'theme'.

It's amazing how someone with so much fame and fortune could end up so deep in a financial hole.

It can happen to anyone.. Remember mc hammer? Made millions, and lost it all. He is a preacher last I heard.

I believe all the rides are still there. Not a very big wheel though, I think it's an Eli Eagle 16.

The train that runs on the railroad is Engine #2 from Carowinds. :( Poor engine, I wish Carowinds would being the railroad back.

YOU KNOW... if he just sold the beatles catilog to paul mccartney , then he would have the money to pay his bill lol!

Yes and no. Carowinds had two railroads when the park opened in 1973. The Carowinds & Carolina Railroad, a Crown Metal Products 36" Gauge railroad in which the engine at Neverland, and another engine(#1- Melodia) ran. In addition, Carowinds still operates a 24" gauge Crown Metal train under the name "Dora the Explorer's Azul Adventure". Carowinds & Carolina was removed in after the 1976 season, possibly for the addition of White Lightnin'.

Wait, they had two separate rail lines, or two separate engines? Very lame naming it after Dora. Bother of KI's are named after original engineers from the park.

Yes, Carowinds had two separate train lines. One a 36 inch gauge like Kings Island, which has long since been removed. The other, as Rollernut mentioned, is a much smaller sized train that resides in Nickelodeon Central, and still runs at the park to this day.

Ah, I see, after your explanation and after checking out Carowinds Zone I realized that it's more of a kiddy themed train. I thought they had remodeled a 36 inch gauge railroad to look like Azul.

If they had done that I would still be screaming at park management. However, Six Flags Over Georgia had that idea with theirs except they were going to model an engine after Thomas The Tank Engine. Thankfully, the decided to add a smaller kiddy one.

I actually feel bad for him. I don't believe that he ever did anything intentionally wrong to children. I feel that he is the victim of greed.

I can't remember how long ago it was that I heard this rumor, but I know that on some T.V. show they were saying that he might come out with a new tour and album to assist him with his financial problems. Does anyone know if there is any truth to this?

Do you know how he lost it all? He had lots of dancers with him on stage and was overpaying them considerably, not to mention picking up the tab all the time. Seems he was way too generous.

Nothing surprises me any more with Michael Jackson.

I should have separated those two statements, which is what caused the confusion in my post. I'll edit it and then add the edited by.

Thanks...must say, though; that's the first time (and hopefully last) that I have ever confused Michael Jackson with M C Hammer!

^I was referring to MC Hammer, not Jackson!

Watch when you correct this man Interpreter, I believe KIBeast at this point was telling you that you "Can't touch this."

MAN! I am funny! Wow.

I need sleep.

This is true. Hammer tried to be a good person. Jackson is just a nut case.

Good shot Gordon!!

I heard comedian Steve Harvey say that the problem with Michael Jackson is that he has giraffe money.

Are any rides left on the Neverland ranch or did he sell them all? The train of his came from Carowinds.
