The Interpreter
Yep. Because Cedar Fair doesn't run coasters in the rain. Or at least it sometimes doesn't. Maybe.
Joshrzmeup
As of right now it's only a 30% chance of rain. But it could change still.
Captain Nemo
Rain of shine, there is going to be a sigh of relief that off season is over! Deerhunter, don't be so sure that rainy days keep the crowds down. From past expirience I have seen KI completely packed during downpours. DropZone99
A few years back before i became obsessed with roller coasters, we would go to PKI on days when it was supposed to rain, and it never did! Well except in 2005 a few weeks after IJST opened it poured the whole day.

Jasper
Well thats good at least it wont be burning up out there. I am keeping my fingers crossed that there will not be very many people there. I am not going to get my wish if i am guessing.
markr
Last year it was a beautiful day on opening day and it wasn't crowed at all. In April the crowds are usally light at KI. In May, the crowds seem to pick up because there are a lot of school trips that month.
CoastersRZ
They`ve changed their forecast a little bit. A couple of days ago, Channel 12 was predicting a high of 56 on Sunday, with scattered rain showers. Now, they`ve upped their forecast to the mid to upper sixties and removed the chance of precipitation.
Ashers
Right now I see AM clouds/PM Sun with a high of 70 degrees. Chance of precipitation 10%. Sounds good to me! That's for Sunday though. For the people who get to go on Sat. it's going to be a high of 60. I'll take Sunday! Opening day crowds seem to vary. One year we went and it was an absolute gorgeous day...it was a little rainy in the morning but by the end of the day it was beautiful and sunny with a nice breeze and we got on every single ride with hardly any wait. I'm hoping for the same on Sunday. But the crowds don't really bother me! I just can't wait to go! ~Ash

BavarianBeatle
Considering i dont live in Ohio i do need say more. What is up with the weather in Ohio in April man? Very changeable. If the sun is out its 75. If not, it's 50, or lower. And 75 on Monday doesn't mean it won't snow on Friday. And snow on Monday doesn't mean it wont be 75 on Friday. And its usually windy........ The weather is very unstable around here this time of year.
