upstop Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 On the last night after our final ride on The Beast, we were walking towards Nick Central when we noticed the sign for White Water Canyon was gone. At first we thought it might be in the sign shop, however, we started to speculate that the Wings Diner would become the TVland Diner, with a newly rethemed White Water Canyon and Nick Centrals boundries would extend to the bridge before the basketball game. There are a couple of acres of land behind the Skyline restaurant and the train station big enough for the future "nick toon car wash" or the antique cars if they come back. What do you speculate?
BoddaH1994 Posted November 22, 2004 Posted November 22, 2004 Although I do see a lot of you being disappointed with a HBL or Nick Central expansion in 2006, I think the park could accomidate for that with a really nice sit-down restaraunt. So long as the prices aren't like stupid-high, it would be an excellent idea. It would be nice to be able to have a place to sit down, be served, and not feel rushed like you do at most fast food places.

Sure, it would be nice to get a new really cool coaster sometime soon, but we are getting the Italian Job next year. Kiddie Land can use an expansion. I could live forever with the park just the way it is now. Improvements are nice, and so even when Kiddie Land, an area of the park I don't frequent (but can appreciate, having a baby sister), gets expanded, I am happy about it. Im glad to have a theme park. For three years I lived in Bozeman, Montana, with the nearest theme park about 5 hours away. And it makes Strickers Grove look fancy! So I get excited over the Italian Job, or NC Expanision, or a new B&M. Its all good!
King Bowser Posted November 23, 2004 Posted November 23, 2004 WWC re-themed to what? It would be nice to see the TVland diner but I perfer WINGS.And I hope that if a nick expansion is in the works I hope we get that Spongebob ride and nick carwash that would rock.
familyman Posted November 24, 2004 Posted November 24, 2004 The food in Wings is awful. Just about everything is fried. I would love to see them redo it with different food. I do like the idea of a wait staff. Taking a load off for a few and enjoying a meal is nice.

Wings will stay unchanged for next season, and so will WWC. The sign was taken down because the ride was shut down early. That way people would know that the ride was closed. The only food stand that won't be the same for next year is Tucker's. Will it be completely gone, or will it be rethemed, who knows? As for 2006, anything can happen then, so I wouldn't be surprised if Wings was gone too.

What better than a restaraunt that's already themed to a gas station being next to a ride about cars?

I am mainly talking about around where you can plop in a quarter, push a button and drench the rafts as they pass by. I sure wish they would trim those down so we could see out hard earned money used well. LOL
