WiFi @ Kings Island

Featured Replies

Do you mean around the general area or inside the actual park? I'm pretty sure there is not, unless Starbucks has one like the majority of their locations, but being as that one is run by Kings Island who knows? I have a blackberry so wi-fi is not needed at the park.

Around the park. I have the ability to to stream movies from my PC to my PSP but I need a hotspot for it work and considering Diamondback line will be long I thought it would be a good idea to be able to do that.

Zune can stream music. That'd be really great. I've found a few hotspots at CP, but I don't think they were meant for public use. I got the "This is a protected hotspot..." screen on my Zune.

Yes, when me and my family visited KI last year, I was flipping through my settings, trying to connect to the Internet. When I saw that two of the options were "Kings Island B" and "Kings Island Main."

So to answer your question: Yes, Kings Island do have Wi-Fi.

Just because someone is on a laptop does not mean that they are online.

I have a PS3 and can remolty turn it on and off. I have the PC and PS3 networked to share vidoes. So I can remotely turn the PS3 on via the PSP and with a function called remote play watch videos from it.

I used to have an HTC Mogul with wifi capabilities and tried getting a signal in several places at KI but was never successful.

Alright! Another fellow Zune user!!

I am sure KI has a hot spot but it is a private system. I use my lap top with a connect card for just that reason, but who would bring a lap top while going to Kings Island?

I did take my old laptop in 2007 to KI.Took the kid to Kiddie land all day me and the wife.Found like 2 spots and i wasnt looking for them.As i used my usb eye in the sky(sprint usb wifi stick it was free).I found a spotting near the arcade over by nick u and 1 up front.

I just got an iPhone for Christmas and i have internet on it now but next time i go to KI i will defiantely be looking for their Wi-Fi. Id say its secure though so the password would be required.

Last year when I was there I remember being able to access a network named timberwolf and access the internet on my iPod Touch

I recall seeing a man on a laptop while siting inside starbucks at KI, in 2007.

The real question is WHY? lol..

Does anybody (That is on here, posting on KIC, that will share an answer) know if there is Wi-Fi anywhere now? Has anyone maybe gotten Wi-Fi in starbucks?

According to the park WiFi is available at Starbucks. They haven't made clear about anywhere else. I am sure there is, but I bet it's locked to only Park Officials...

How come when I look up topics on here I can't even get past early 2012, but you can find a topic from 3 years ago?
