Attractions/buildings that will never leave PKI

Featured Replies

What kind of attractions/buildings that will NEVER leave Kings Island?

Tell me what do ya think what will never leave KI.

Derek

The Beast. Enough said. Even if they have to rebuild the thing from the ground up, there is no way PKI, can be PKI without it.

The Eiffel Tower and International Street will never leave. The Beast will have to have burnt to the ground several times for them to not rebuild it.

I definatly agree, Beast will never leave, or it better not at least.. But what about Racer, I doubt it ever leaves either considering its been there since it opened. Although maybe not as popular now, it is till a PKI trademark... Another thing I doubt will ever leave is Beastie, or the Train

Speaking of burning, we always wanted to have a huge Bonfire out of SOB its first year if they didn't get it working.

Though, The Beast, Eifel Tower, the carousel (it could be redone but not taken out, maybe moved), the fountains and probably the international restruant all most likely would never leave the park. Oh and The Racers as well. Everything I could see being taken out but those things are basically the landmarks of the park and what it is known for.

The ticket building, the one where below it you give you ticket/pass to the attendant. And "The Paramount Theater"

The Beast - built in 1979 put Kings Island on the map. It'll never, ever be taken out - unless aliens from outspace steal it. Also, I'd say that The Eiffel Tower would never leave because it is the trademark of PKI - as Cinderalla's Castle is to Magic Kingdom. Due to the sheer cost of building it and its magnificent size - I doubt that SOB would ever be removed. Additionally, I think that FoF wouldn't ever be taken out.

I would have to go with the Eiffel Tower, Drop Zone, SOB, The Racer, The Beast, The Beastie, TR TR, and the Festhous but it may get a new look.

The Beast will never leave. Neither will Eiffel Tower, SOB, Racer and a few others.

Many forget an obvious choice. The carousel.

I agree that the Eiffel Tower, Carousel, Flying Eagles, K.I.M.V & R.R., International Street, Royal Fountain, Beast, Beastie, SOB, Racer will never leave the park.

What about Monster, Scrambler, Shake, Rattle, and Roll, or Dodgems?

Derek

I don't think they will be removed either cause there are usually a fair amount of people in line for them.

I could see those flats being moved. Flyers will never leave either, they are too popular.

Though, The Beast, Eifel Tower, the carousel (it could be redone but not taken out, maybe moved)

I would just like to point out my earlier statement. Those who truely care, don't forget.

Ya I could see the parking being extended across I-71. To avoid people being hit though they would have to build some kind of walkway over the highway.

The Golf Course is across the street, and it doesn't belong to Kings Island anymore. Plus you would have to get permission from the state to build over the highway like that. I don't see that ever happening. At most I can see the employee lot being used and it going somewhere else, which I think they should do, or make a parking garage if ever needed.

You odn't have to build over anything. They coudl tunnel underneath the interstate, and then woudln't have to worry about building over it, it would be covered, and would be much safer.

Hate to burst your bubble but KI does not own the tennis stadium across the interstate.

The Eiffel Tower and The Beast will never EVER leave the park! there landmarks in my eyes!

Neither will Racer. It was the coaster that started the second coaster boom in America! I can't really see Vortex being removed either since it was the first coaster ever to have 6 inversions and they aren't having any problems with it. B)

Paramount Story is probably the one thing at Paramount's Kings Island that I would LIKE to see leave. It would be a nice piece of land for a new flat ride, or even a special area for guests to learn about PKI history.

  • 6 years later...

hirst of all, yeah i know im reviving a dead topic. but its the offseason & wanted to see past topics(to keep new ones about the same stuff being created). while going thru this it made me laugh @ how many people are wanting SOB to burn to the ground, how many people were wrong (ex:flying eagles). anyone care to add?

Flyers will never leave either, they are too popular.

Of the current attractions, I can't imagine The Beast, Racer, or Eiffel Tower being removed, unless they were damaged beyond repair. Even then, I could imagine Kings Island "reviving" The Beast through a new wooden roller coaster on the same land.

I can't see the Eiffel Tower ever leaving. Even if it were damaged, it's KI's icon. It's like Disney tearing down Cinderella Castle after a hurricane blows some shingles off.

Holy old topic, Batman!

Eiffel Tower, Beast, and Racer will never leave KI. They are KI landmarks.

I'm not so sure about everything else.

I could only see FoF, Invertigo,The Crypt,SOB,some kiddy rides, some old water rides,FlightDeck, advertureexpress, andfx theater leave the park. Maby more I need to rember.

One thing I don't seeing leave is this topic geeze six years later!
