Test Dummy Ready for First Ride on Diamondback

Featured Replies

There were several reasons those particular T-bar restraints are no longer offered in North America. See also Darien Lake, Six Flags New England....

In any event, the restraints on Diamondback are of a type that has proven to be both effective and comfortable. Always a good combination.

I too would have Knotts in my stomach if my T-Bar were perilously re-straining me.

Shaggy - who thinks he finally coined a Terpy

Just read the reports on rideaccidents.com. Seems many factors contributed as well.

I like El Toro's restraints. They are pretty comfy. Never had a problem with those myself.

More than one of the posters on this site was present at one or more of those incidents, and were and have been involved in actions taken since. Reports at the website you listed give only one perspective of the events in question. Like many things on the web, one must ask oneself why the particular incidents are reported, by whom, and for what reason(s).

"Boy that picture will make for some funny captions."

"Go ahead... try and make me get up."

Well I have not posted in a while so I guess this is as good of chance as any to re-insert myself in the world of KICentral. I personally was one of the few people on this site who have been involved in an accident at KI. Specifically the Son of Beast one...

"...is this ride geese-proof?"

or,

"Betcha Jeff Siebert's at home right now going, 'I hate you, Don. I hate you so very much.'"

or even,

"Throw in some 22s and we'd be all set."

"Ahhh not again! I locked my Helbig in the train, somebody call AAA..."

this almost made me wet my pants.....wowww that was funny

Dispatcher: Sir, where did you say you are located?

Voice: In Rivertown, in the back of Kings Island park, in Mason, Ohio, off I-71.

Dispatcher: [Click!] Mutters to self: Darn kids and their prank calls.

This is not Photoshop-ed or anything but here's KI's main page right now...

LOL! I though someone photoshoped this. I didn't realize that they actually added this to the home page!

Yeah, it does look like some one on here would've put that on the Photoshop thread but it's real.

^i din't think anyone had but a lot of people in springboro did, i remember people talking about it on and on and on, (springboro people tend to believe anything) but once i actually rode it i didn't thnk it was possible to fall out.

According to my science class, people have fallen out of Son of Beast, Drop Zone, TRTR, IJST, and The Beast. Also, the reason for the bars at the top of the Eiffel Tower is because people kept jumping off. And, best of all, "Saddleback" is "500 feet tall", "200mph", and built by "Balderdash & Mallard". ...

Misinformed people drive me nuts. You know, those kind of people who will say anything to make others think they know what they're talking about.

well they are from Springboro so what can you expect

Oh-My-Gosh you have no idea how funny this is.

Okay, J.D. I nearly busted out laughing. That was awesome!
