McSalsa Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 Yeah, this one is pretty explainatory. If you cannot remember all you have ridden, give a estimated guess. BTW, I am still a noob...I have ridden 9 roller coasters, 1 short of being a Amateur...and have only been to 2 parks(Indiana Beach in 1999, Kings Island twice in 2000 and 2009) Quote
DaveStroem Posted August 8, 2009 Posted August 8, 2009 By the end of the season, I will be over 200 total and real close to 200 different ones this year. Going to Strickers Grove tomorrow to pick up 2 new credits. Quote
IndyGuy4KI Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 I would say I am near 40 now, definitely over 30, but no exact number. Quote
IBEW_Sparky Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 If you count coasters that have been moved and renamed (X-Flight/Firehawk), and count racing coasters as 2, I have ridden 51. If not, 49. Quote
coaster_junky Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 i'm barely a coaster pro, with somewhere around thrity five to fourty coasters, i can't really remember how many coasters i rode when i was smaller. Quote
ki lover Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 hi im Daniel from avon ind. about 30 to 35 coaster Quote
Guest rcfreak339 Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 63....Hope to get up to 90 next year! Quote
McSalsa Posted August 9, 2009 Author Posted August 9, 2009 I'm a coaster amateur We all have to start somewhere...and some of cannot afford to buy season passes. Don't feel too bad. But make every trip count! Quote
screamingnight Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 I have only ridden the ones at Kings Island. I have never been to another amusement park because I can't afford to travel and don't really have enough time on my scehdule. Quote
Whales_Rock Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 I am a noob. I have ridden 6, all at Kings Island. Quote
DaveStroem Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 I don't count moved rides, but have not been on one. I do however count racing coasters as long as they are on separate tracks. Kennywood's Racer to me does not count as two since it is a mobius. Quote
The Interpreter Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 I don't count steel unless they are hypercoasters or Volcano: The Blast Coaster. And so it goes... How many? Not enough. Not enough... Quote
rotag Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 man, i really wish i could tell you, but my memory fails me at this time. rotag, who is too young to have alztimers{sp?} so he will blame it on the shelf above his bed that fell & hit his head. which is the same shelf that held empty liqour bottles that resulted in him loosing his teeth. thus creating his unique smile. McSalsa Posted August 9, 2009 Author Posted August 9, 2009 About 20 to 23. Not very good Still better than some of us... Quote
mtl2013 Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 By the end of the season, I will be over 200 total and real close to 200 different ones this year. Going to Strickers Grove tomorrow to pick up 2 new credits. The coasters at strickers grove are ok. But, I really dont think I would perspnaly count them. But, you are going for as many different ones as you can, so go ahead. hahahaha. But yeah, I was in the coaster pro section. I think im around 70? Quote
bkroz Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 My CoasterFanatics count is 89. Proud of myself! (: Quote
TTD-120-420 Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 Do not remember, but will look at my signature to remember after I post this. Well there yeah go 64. Only 5 away from my favorite number. Zach, running away. . . Quote
DiamondbackLover Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 By the end of the season, I will be over 200 total and real close to 200 different ones this year. Going to Strickers Grove tomorrow to pick up 2 new credits. Dear God.... Quote
Diamondback FOF Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 I am an amateur. I've ridden around 17 or 18. I've ridden all of the current coasters at KI, including the two kids' coasters (is that 15 total?). Then, I went to WDW (MK and Epcot). I think there was two combined there, and then I rode Kraken at Sea World. SO I guess that's 18 . Quote
The Interpreter Posted August 9, 2009 Posted August 9, 2009 The park considers Avatar: The Last Airbender a coaster, but Racer as one (not two). Others don't count that way...some do, some don't... Quote
DaveStroem Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 By the end of the season, I will be over 200 total and real close to 200 different ones this year. But, you are going for as many different ones as you can, so go ahead. hahahaha. But yeah, I was in the coaster pro section. I think im around 70? If it is coaster and both the Tornado & Teddy Bear most certainly are why would you not count them? If all you count is massive thrilling coasters that is fine. But many smaller coasters give great rides too. I will always remember my day at Stricker's maybe not as much for the coasters but for the friends that I met there. Quote
Guest rcfreak339 Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 Hardly anybody has the rare Teddy and Tornado credit! Quote
Coaster Kid Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 Hardly anybody has the rare Teddy and Tornado credit! I have it and my count of as of this week is 36 Quote
Rustbucket Posted August 10, 2009 Posted August 10, 2009 Like Terpy said, not enough.... I am at 206 and counting. I have Teddy Bear and Tornado credit. I love that ejector air on Tornado. Quote
