Woofer, I couldn't agree with you more. It is almost as though one day everyone decided to hop on this bandwagon of not trusting screamscape.

This would be very exciting, and a fairly low cost attraction to add during a year when we may be losing some beloved attractions.

You are right, you have to be there to get the true experience. It brings you into a whole nother world at Cedar Point. Kind of a peaceful break from all of the record breaking scream machines, even if you are just passing through.

Just goes to show you that Amusement Parks, even America's Rockin' Roller Coast, can be more than just thrilling rides.

I like Starlight but I don't see it fitting in with KI. You guys already have the fountains and the tower. It looks amazing. I don't see why KI would need both. I don't doubt if it is true, but I don't think it is needed.

Huh? Yes Cp has 17 coasters, but you knew that cuz Terpy knows everything. lol. Will they get a new one someday? Yes. Why? Because they need one. They need a good wooden coaster which they don't have. KI already has a great night time show type thing, and fireworks.

There can be no assurance that virtually nightly fireworks will continue when other forms of entertainment are added. . .

Cedar Point still does Hot Summer Lights....not exactly the same as a fireworks display but basically their one up equivalent....

I'd rather have our current fireworks than Hot Summer Lights, just my opinion.

Personally I think it is needed, specifically in the gardens. During the months the gardens aren't used they are an area of the park that is very neglected. When I walked through it during the middle of the season there was trash in what I think was once the waterfall, collapsing fake rocks, graffiti, broken gates and fences, and just plain filth. I've only been to Cedar Point once.. and its clear that neglect is not something the park takes lightly, hopefully that will transfer onto the once beautiful gardens, and maybe a Starlight Experience may be just what the doctor ordered. Just my opinion though.

The gardens look terrible. I really, really hope they improve that area. At least fix the rockwork...

^ I agree, why can't they work on other areas a little bit instead of focusing on one area? Tower Gardens should be called Tower Dump instead, cause that is NOT a garden. I don't see good landscape, I don't see beautiful fountains with refreshing water. I see run down plastic mountains with non working water falls, gross green water, faded brick path, overgrown bushes and foliage. I really hope we do get a Starlight Experience next year, mainly so the area will become nice again.

Focusing on new areas with new rides to the virtual exclusion of older areas of parks and infrastructure was a hallmark of the old Six Flags. And we know how that ended...

Yea I agree river town doesn't even look like it belongs in the park. The cobble stone is just great to walk on much better than the black top.

I like one side of Rivertown, and that is the small area by White Water Canyon. I like it cause of the shade and the Rivertown-esh atmosphere. I don't like the new Diamondback plaza, looks too plain and Action Zone-esh.

I have heard that the train is going to be rethemed this year, and I've also heard that the starlight stuff might be their retheme. Nothing concrete, but I think that would be a good place for it.

I think it would be a great addition but I have no idea where it would go. I think it should go in tower dump.

we need STARLIGHT EXPIERENCE or they might as well take out the tower gardens area and build a flat ride like the gravity ride
