If they tear down Son Of Beast...

What type of coaster/ride(s) would you like to see put in its spot?

Edited to Add: I want to see a new stand up coaster at Kings Island. I miss King Cobra there so badly and while I do hate the bicycle seats, I just want to see one brought back to the park, either in that spot or elsewhere in the park.

First off I do hope that Son of Beast does reopen. Where the ride does occasionally beat the tar out of me in the past, it does still hold a special place in the coasters that I have ridden from its 2000 season. Though if they did tear it down and it was a replacement coaster I would be shocked if it was a stand-up. It seems that the era of stand-up coasters went about as fast as it came. According to RCDB, there hasnt been a new stand-up built since 1999, over 10 years now. If SOB is torn down, I would love to see another wooden coaster take its place.

My opinion would be to keep it a wood coaster, there are thousands of footers out there and they could heavily modify the structure and course by saving many aspects of the ride like the station half of the lift maybe the second helix to the final break run and use all the extra good lumber to save cost.

Well if they tear down SOB then I would like to see an Intamin Giga Coaster or a GCI coaster. Both of those coasters are amazing rides and provide a great ride experience. However though, while both of those are amazing rides, I would also like to see a B&M Invert similar to Alpengeist at Busch Gardens. B&M Inverts provide an amazing ride as well. Anything I think would be nice and I don't like to be greedy, but I hope it is one of the fore mentioned coasters above. I would gladly accept any of the above though. A Maverick style ride would not be that bad either, Maverick looks small but it packs more punch than any other coaster of it's size I have seen.

First I have to say, just because they tear a coaster down doesn't mean they'll put another one (or anything) in it's place. Tearing down SOB would be very expensive.

I'd love to see a B&M invert. It would be cool to use terrain and weave in and out of ravines and wooded areas. A launched coaster like Storm Runner would be great. I loved every second of that ride!!!!!

Wait, how much space do they have back there?

I'm very curious about how much land is back there also and where the boarder line is?

By Means of Comparison, here is the Coney / Rivertown area at the same distance ratio:

So with Son of Beast's space (Just what it occupies now, not even what it opens up!) you have the FX Theatre to Diamondback essentially.
