Follow My Orlando Adventure

Featured Replies

So yeah... Delirium_Guy has been bugging me for about two years now to come visit him down in Orlando and experience the many parks that the area has to offer. I'm actually flying down there Wednesday and will be there through the following Tuesday.

Here's the fun part - I'm gone for 6 days, but will be flying on two of them, so that leaves only four days of play. We intend to breeze through Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot, Hollywood Studios, Busch Gardens Tampa, Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios and Sea World. That's right - 8 parks in 4 days.

I intend to show my love to all my beautiful KIC peepz in the house, so if you want to follow my hectic Orlando adventure you can follow me on Twitter at twitter.com/ryansuhr.

I'll probably be uploading periodic photos to Facebook for those of you who have friended me on there too.

Cheers,

Ryan

Sounds exciting, good luck getting in as much as possible at each park!

I shall follow your intriguing adventures.. jealously, but avidly..

Hope you have a great time. I can't wait to hear all about it!

Wow that is going to be a busy time. I am assuming that you are going to hit WDW for 2 of those days with park hoppers. Might I sugest starting your day at Hollywood Studios then going to Epcot. On the other day start at Animal Kingdom and finish at Magic Kingdom.

If you want any other tips for Disney just let me know.

No way! I am leaving for Orlando on Wednesday afternoon too!!!! I am leaving before our last bell starts and going down with my friends family and 2 other friends. We are staying at POP Century resort and visiting all of the Disney parks and Universal and Islands of Adventure! I am flying home Sunday night though. What a coincidence though!

Yup. Its going to be awesome. I'm getting my 100th credit while I'm down there. I am thinking of making it Rip Ride and Rock-It.

I am so happy that you are finally going down too see for yourself what all the excitement is all about. I have great respect for Delirium_guy and love his reviews, I can not think of anyone better to guide you around. Please Please with your schedule finish packing by Monday night and just sleep Tuesday night so you'll be rested and ready to go. Your description of the trip is like a box of chocolates. You are just picking off the corner of each one to see what you like best. I look forward to your updates but with that schedule I would rather you update us when you get back rather than you to miss something.

If you ride Hollywood Rip Ride Rocket I really enjoyed The Beastie Boys soundtrack under the rap section, It is synced to the ride great. Have Fun and know if you need any bail money we'll be there for ya.

lol bail money ? I will save up my nickles ;) .

You are doing 4 of the parks that I did this summer you should have a really good time. Since I used to live in that area I will also be following this.

Just followed you on Twitter, have a great time! Look forward to seeing updates.

Looks like the bird has landed .

Sounds like he still has some Sorin to do today.

Wow, I am surprised with all the updates Ryan is sharing. It's almost like an update after every attraction.

Well, there is time for it between the lines and walking :). It's nice that he is doing that.

Very nice indeed!

Ride It's A Small World for someone you know...who adores that ride! And TofT and and and...well, you get the picture!

There will be no Small World this visit, thank you very much. Just not enough time to endure the pain and suffering, sorry Ryan! :-) Had an awesome first night though and went through every attraction in Epcot this evening....including a spin through Innoventions. I definitely enjoyed seeing Ryan's reaction to Spaceship Earth upon walking into Epcot though haha!

No Small World? If ever there were a classic ride! Although that darn song can get stuck in your head for weeks after a ride on it!

Yes it can and I don't think either one of us need that LOL! Besides, I let him see the Small World rejects that call their home the Grand Fiesta Tour over in Mexico at Epcot :) NO hate towards Grand Fiesta, I promise, I love me some Donald Duck....just saying though about the Small World-esq characters.

Todd, I've been keeping up with Ryan's updates as well, and it looks like you guys are having an absolute blast. I am seething with jealousy, but I am so glad the two of you are thoroughly enjoying yourselves! I for one can't wait to see Ryan tell me about it in person. He tells such vivid and amusing stories of his adventures!

So far it has been great fun hearing about Ryan's big Orlando guided tour trip. Form his first hand analysis descriptions and photos, it sounds to me this will not be Ryan's last trip to Orlando. Todd - thanks for your insight from a different perspective, it is not very often you get to tour around with a amusement park enthusiast who has yet to see the splendider of what Orlando has to offer. Also if it is not to much trouble can we get a picture with Ryan at one of the parks so no one can claim his trip was staged. TIA.

I hope you guys are having a blast and holding up well.

You have to tell me how Universal is. My dad and I are planning a trip down for HHN next October, and I'm looking forward to it.

I was invited to see a private showing of "Believe" http://pic.gd/7c2cb3

(from his Twitter)

I saw "Believe" when I was in Florida and that show was amazing!

Blue Horizons... Wow... Just wow...

I also saw this and it too is spectacular!

Getting through security was faster than I planned. Now I have 40 minutes to kill. I've been having fun with the moving sidewalks.

Yes, those are always fun. B)
