I saw a kid do a cannon ball into the Royal Fountains near Emporium. The kid and his group was dumb enough to sit dripping wet in the patio chairs next to the fountain fence after the event. I showed my photo to a passing security guard nearly 5min later and pointed out the kid and off they went to the admin area.

My sister-in-law's sister and husband got kicked out in 2008 for assaulting an officer, but it all stemmed from smoking in line.

The story, as I've heard it, is that they were in line for either Firehawk or Italian Job (can't remember exactly which) but they were smoking in line and some people complained and a staff member told them to put it out. They refused and got unruly, cussing and causing a scene ("I'm allowed to smoke, it's a free country...blah blah..*hack* *cough* *choke* *expletive*...blah blah!") and Mason police were brought in to escort them out and the wife was cussing at them and hit one and then her husband got in and pushed one so they were handcuffed and taken to cool off in the jail.

All that over smoking. I seriously can't understand how people can go so overboard over putting a little puff stick in their mouth. I mean, I know it's an addiction, but to go nuts because you can't do it in a crowded line with people having to inhale it is just stupid. Of course, they still hold to it that they were the ones who were wronged and Kings Island is a bad place.

That's gotta be one of my least favorite things. I was waiting in line for BLSC! and I was behind a terrible group of people. They were smoking and drinking in line and I asked them to put it out because for me smoke=choke. They wouldn't. I finally get up to the station and instead of kicking them out of line I had the ops staple the entire group and have security waiting to escort them out of the park. They were all sloppy drunk so that was the real reason they were kicked out.

One time when i was waiting in line for Diamondback with my friend, (and this was when the line was like 45 minutes) a kid asked to pay me to let him cut me in line. i found it ironic because right behind me in clear sight was the sign that said no line jumping

While working in Park Services earlier this year I came across a young couple making...'whoopie'...in the supply closet of the restroom in front of SoB. They quickly closed the door and left me dumbfounded for a second. I phoned in Security, then the guy in the closet came out and asked if I could give him an extra 20 minutes to finish up. Park Police would be there in less than three, so to keep the two in the general vicinity I told him he could and he raced back in. That's when the cops came and escorted them out of the park.

I also had an incident back in '05 where someone was attempting to smuggle weed in and out of the park using empty bags of VoBan (vomit absorption product) in the restroom right next to Vortex. A pan & broomer and two other guests were involved, and I didn't get to leave until 12:30 in the morning because of filling out a witness statement.

Say if you have someone waiting in line for you and when they get close to the front they get out of line and you take thier spot is that still line jumping?

Yes, that is line jumping. Joining the line in front of others who have been waiting for their turn is line jumping and will be seen as such. Unless, of course, you bought that privilege from the park (or got it free, in the case of Disney)...in which case many will still see it as line jumping, but the non-Disney parks that sold that privilege will not see it as such, nor will Disney (at Disney that privilege was also available to others in the regular line).

I saw what he said. It's STILL line jumping. There is no system for others to hold your place in line at Kings Island. As I said earlier, at Six Flags, for example, there is. It's called a QBot, it's expensive, and many see it as unfair. At least at Disney the system is free of additional charge and available to all.

I don't get it... they have a system that allows anyone to hold a spot in a line, a line in which they are not waiting, and it's free and available to everyone? So, in theory, if everyone took advantage of this at the same time then no one would have to wait in line? Or am I missing something? The Disney system is called a Fast Pass...you get one and you get to go ahead of the people in the regular lines. And it is free.

At Six Flags, you can get a Flash Pass aka Q-Bot at most parks. Same deal, but it is far from free of additional charge.

The Disney system only has so many tickets for a certain time period for a particular ride, and a certain number of tickets for a particular ride for the day. Because of that, some of the more popular attractions (Soarin', Mission Space, Space Mountain, etc) often times have no more tickets to give out at a very early time in the day. Also, when you get your ticket, it may be HOURS before you can go back and ride that ride.

...by using the Fast Pass. Of course you are free to join the regular line at any time before your appointed Fast Pass time...

Not as many parks do that now, but many still do.). By offering ERT to small groups of enthusiasts, parks hope to generate goodwill, etc.

Group sales, on the other hand, makes money, and lots of it. When the economy is depressed and group sales decline, many parks start heading toward loss making.

Even when the clubs pay for events (not what the members pay, what the clubs pay), the amount the park receives is almost always far, far less than the park's costs of the ERT. From ride operators to security to utility costs, ERT is not cheap. Far too many club members see ERT as an earned right, not the very special privilege that it is.

Yes, repeat trouble makers have been banned before, and season passes have been revoked. I've been involved in several situations of that sort in the past (not as the person being kicked out, but as one of the people involved in the situation on behalf of the park). And people have tried to re-enter while banned. I had one situation where I clearly remembered the person, and he tried to come back a few months after he was banned. I just happened to be out near the turnstiles, he saw me and left the rest of his group to go back out to the car. I followed him, got park police and he was escorted off park property again. And the funny thing was, the park police officer that responded was the one involved in his ban the first time. When he pulled up to us in the park police car, he got out and said to the guy, "What?!?!?! You again?!?!?" I had to stop myself from laughing when he said that!

I remember about three years ago there was a kid maybe around 16 that got arrested for spitting or throwing something off the Eiffel Tower. True story I remember it like yesterday.

My question is with all the people going threw the gates how did you even reconize that one person? How does the park know if there person they kick out is a season pass holder or not? ITs not like they can look in thier wallet and see if they have a pass.

I have see many,many,many people kicked out of KI I've seen people drunk wanting to get on SoB.I've seen ''stoners'' get kicked out of KI i've also seen couples making out in lines getting thrown out.

I remember one time I think it was in 2001.. My friends and I went to McDonalds after a fun filled day at Kings Island and a huge fight broke out in the parking lot it was insane and utter chaos!
