CoastersRZ
I do not have much information on this, but I have heard that Krazy City in Tri County Mall has closed. The indoor family fun center featured several rides, including an electric go kart track. It opened back in December of 2007. The Cincinnati location is also no longer listed on the Krazy City website here: http://www.krazycity.com/.

BoddaH1994
I'm willing to guess that this involves a decrease in revenue coupled with steadily increasing operating and insurance costs. Any takers?
CincyMan98
I was going there for my B-day on January 5! What the heck? I was so excited too. Why would such a cool place close?
Beast79
You weren't missing much! The only think I found worth doing was the glow in the dark mini golf.
HTCO
I'm willing to guess that this involves a decrease in revenue coupled with steadily increasing operating and insurance costs. Any takers? I agree with this. Completely a shame to see this place rise and fail in less than 5 years.
CincyMan98
You weren't missing much! The only think I found worth doing was the glow in the dark mini golf. Yea but I'm 11 years old, I love all that stupid stuff.......I think it's a really cool place. I love the Go Karts, the rides, and the games.

The Interpreter
Please don't tell me you like the pizza! Terpy, who once knew someone who went to Dave & Buster's for the food!
CincyMan98
I go to D and B's for the food.......their games stink, sorry. But I'm still going to be so disappointed that Krazy City closed.
TylerRider
The prices were highway robbery!!! 3.50 for a ride on the tornado.
Coney Islander
I once payed $5.00 to ride the Top Scan at Virginia Beach and it was well worth it! What I'm trying to say, many that have never ridden a Tornado type ride would happily pay, for the experience.
The Interpreter
Many, perhaps, but not enough. Had there been enough, chances are good the place would still be there and operating...
Beast1979
Yea, I'm bummed, I mean hey, where am I gonna go for an offseason fix now? But I'm not gonna cry over it, it's no where near on the level of D&B's and I guess there's better stuff to put there. It lasted 2 years, mayve that's longer then Apollo will hold the reins of my park!
gigacoaster2k
That's where I first met Kat (violakat03), who is now one of my best friends.
CincyMan98
Yea, I'm bummed, I mean hey, where am I gonna go for an offseason fix now? That's exactly what I was thinking, I go to Krazy City twice during the wintertime, because I don't have Kings Island to go to!
BoddaH1994
The dark mini golf was NOT the only thing to do there. They also had the borderline-dangerous go karts.
Dane
Now where are we gonna have the KIC Christmas Party this year?
XGatorHead 8904
^Yeah, I was considering posting in the Gravity Group Timberliner Tour topic that we go to Krazy City afterward. I had never been there before and it was just down the street from the Gravity Group. Oh well, looks like I missed my chance to go there.
CincyMan98
You could go to the one in PA or Conneticut.....lol
XGatorHead 8904
^No thanks! I'm more likely to go to Indianapolis just to go to Xscape. And that's not happening!
ki4db
As one of the original workers for Krazy City, I was looking for a job after KI closed and they were just opening, I can say that this does not surprise almost anyone that as ever worked. It is unfortunate, however management was horrible they kept changing policies on an almost daily basis, at least on the rides side. People would come in to look around and really like what they saw the they would see the prices and shake their heads and leave. I remember one shift working skyscraper they height limit was 60 in. I would have one or two guest on one cycle every 20 minutes or so. They had brought in a ride that their target audience could not ride, later they added seat belts and lowered the limit. The go karts became a hazard to guests at the speeds and had to slow them down to the point few were willing to pay the five bucks for the three minutes on the track. During the week only two or three ride associate were needed if that because there were so few people. Saturdays were of course packed but having only one or two days a week being busy usually does not fair well for a company. The last major thing i saw, more than half of their ride associates came over from KI following a manager just to get an easy job (yes no I did not have an interview the manager remembered me from KI and gave the job when I was just at the mall one day). Then when KI reopened they expected everyone to stay, and when we left they had a very new crew that did not know the rides very well and showed very little interest in their job. All in all I do feel it is unfortunate that they had to shut down I have many friends for my time there and there is one manager that I am still friends with and now he does not have a job.
TylerRider
I was just at Tri-County Mall and the signed said: "This location is now closed. Thanks for you support." I wonder if they were being sarcastic.
