The Interpreter
Every year now, for many years, Cedar Point has had a very nice poster calendar. It went out to the media people, who then presumably remembered the company fondly as they wrote about it. Until....now.
UnrealNightmare
Maybe there just late at getting it out to people? Unrealsk8er being optimistic...
Thrill_Biscuit
Calendars are becoming passé here in the age of instant communication. Maybe they're just going to send them electronically.
IndyGuy4KI
Maybe they did not want to send out FUN calendars and a few months later be old news.. as in non-existence.
74Gibson
Tony Clark posted (on another site) that they did not print them. But don't worry, this merger isn't afftecting day to day operations
The Interpreter
Every day in every way there seems to be less fun at Cedar Fair LP headquarters...
KIfan73
Hopefully it won't lead to less fun in their parks.
The Interpreter
You mean at the FUN & Only?
KIfan73
Yeah, now it might just be the fun and ONLY.
Browntggrr
It really sucks when a company has to eliminate things that many have been used to for years to save money. For instance, the company I work for has eliminated the annual summer family picnic for financial reasons.
The Interpreter
...and some of these 'cost-saving' moves cost more than they save. How much will morale suffer because the picnic was dropped? How do you measure the difference in media coverage after certain nice things that were once given to media are eliminated? And isn't it interesting all the little things that get cut while the perks for the higher ups are either not eliminated or even often are actually increased? CedarPointer
And isn't it interesting all the little things that get cut while the perks for the higher ups are either not eliminated or even often are actually increased? And this is why we shouldn't have the wolves voting on whether or not to add a new fence around the sheep pasture...
The Interpreter
Invisible fences are better, then when the wolves go a bit too far, they get a "gentle correction."* * also known as not getting approval from owners of 2/3 of the outstanding units...
