Diamondback96 Posted July 2, 2010 Posted July 2, 2010 It actually uses YT's 3D feature, so no glasses are needed! Quote
Dieseltech20 Posted July 2, 2010 Posted July 2, 2010 Yeah, but my couch won't move around on it's own, lol. Quote
RingMaster Posted July 2, 2010 Posted July 2, 2010 And considering this is SpongeBob we're talking about, no brain is needed either! Quote
Diamondback96 Posted July 3, 2010 Author Posted July 3, 2010 The video has been fixed. It now looks similar to the real thing. Quote
CincyMan98 Posted July 3, 2010 Posted July 3, 2010 I see Spongebob got a new sign at KI It did? That would be awesome! Even though the movie is still outaded.......:/ Quote
Colonel_SoB_fan Posted July 3, 2010 Posted July 3, 2010 I had never seen this sign today. I was working so no pictures. Quote
muppetfan1999 Posted July 3, 2010 Posted July 3, 2010 They should at least fix the quality of the film a little. But the sign is really nice. Quote
CoastersRZ Posted July 3, 2010 Posted July 3, 2010 And of course at Coney, we have "pickle cards." In case you don`t know about "Give `Em the Pickle," check out this video: Quote
markr Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 We often have a discussion on this thread about the importance of good customer service. I know a lot of you are going to think I'm crazy but the Sponge Bob ride actually has something important to say about this subject. It shows that it is of utmost importance to listen to the customer. If Spongebob had listened to the customer before taking off on that pickle chase, he would have learned from the customer that he did not want pickles on his burger. Not only would Spongebob have saved himself a lot of trouble but he would have had a much happier, satisfied customer. Just a thought. Quote
The Interpreter Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 And what's it about? A pickle. Think about that, too. Quote
markr Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 I agree, Terpy, the makers of the the video didn't intend to make any kind of serious statement. Yet, I still think it would be a good motivational video to show in a humorous way to employees the importance of developing good listening skills. Quote
CoastersRZ Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 "Give `Em the pickle!" Coney subscribes to that philosophy of customer service, and even has "Pickle cards" for its employees with five tips for great customer service. Quote

Spongebob often works on several levels. See also The Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum, which is actually an allegory about monetary policy. Really. http://www.prosperityuk.com/prosperity/articles/wizzoz.html Quote
coaster_junky Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 ^something that i didn't believe completely until we analyzed it in my u.s. history class. silver and gold make green. Quote
The Interpreter Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 And MGM made even more gold! http://www.amazon.com/Making-Wizard-Oz-Movie-Studio/dp/0786883529 Quote
coaster_junky Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 nearly $50 for a book! no thank you. coaster_junky, who is patiently waiting for the new edition of walt disney imagineering: a behind the dreams look at making the magic real to drop below $40 (it's currently $60) Quote
The Interpreter Posted July 7, 2010 Posted July 7, 2010 Uh, as of this writing, you can buy it used from Amazon for $1.06 plus $3.99 shipping. But, that's not my point...my point is the MGM movie about journeying away from Kansas made far more than the Baum book about, among other things, money! Quote
Adventure Express Posted July 9, 2010 Posted July 9, 2010 I remember my first ride on this the year it came out... I waited almost two hours! It was worth it though, the ride was great fun and it still is to this Day! Quote
