KIfan73
That's one thing that I can't believe hasn't been shared much, is pictures from IS. Some of those shops sound so interesting, I'd love to see what they looked like inside.

They sold cukoo clocks there. Shaggy
Guest rcfreak339
Still so hard to believe they sold some of the things they did, those things would never be sold in todays amusment parks. If anyone has pictures share them!

standbyme
Just think how sweet a lock shop could have been though! Notice the sign says "Padlocks And Locks From Around The World"...ewww pinch me I must be dreaming! I have always found it amazing that somewhere out in the world there is at least one person who collects anything that you can think of no matter how dumb you may think it is. (For me, I have always thought that the people who collect bricks are they themselves a few bricks short if they think a brick collection is interesting.) If anyone has pictures share them! Busch Gardens begs to differ! Even CP has some odd shops along Frontier Trail (not the extent it used to be however). Well you better add Holiday World, Dollywood and EPCOT to the list then, but wait..... you said amusement parks and those are theme parks. I wonder which type of parks I bought the most merchandise from this year. Hint:: Hundreds of $ difference in purchases separate the two. flightoffear1996
I think I spent littterly $20 in total on sourviner shopping this year on a beer mug and some shot glasses at Cedar Point. I just couldnt find any shirts this season that I liked.
RailRider
Still the best merch in the industry can be found at Dollywood / Silver Dollar City, Busch Gardens, and even Disney. I wish Cedar Fair would take notice that higher quality goods can be sold effectively within a park.

I just couldnt find any shirts this season that I liked. Off topic: They seem to be getting more away from normal looking shirts each year. I find the "Big Woddie" shirts to be amusing to read, but not wear myself. I looked high and low over the last 2 seasons for a polo with KI on it with the company logo. Then I finally saw the KI logo'ed Tee Shirts in the $10.00 store in Coney Mall, but never found an XL, I looked every time I was in there! I want a Polo or even a Tee Shirt that has Kings Island written on it, in the proper font with the KI logo! (In my size.) I have 2 Polo's with The Beast's 25th logo on it and I have wore them out. They are all faded from wearing them so much. Back on Topic: That would be cool to go back in time and see all the shops on IS back in 1972! CedarPointer
I don't think there's a big market for polo shirts. Every time I've seen them at a park, they were in the under $10 store.
