185139
What did everyone think of Nightmare Alley? Im only asking because I work it and a lot of people were confused on what it was supposed to be and kept asking where it was. Just post what you thought of it. pkifreak23
i really enjoyed it i liked the amount of scareactors like IndyGuy4KI said. Which one were you maybe i could say hi this friday when i go back lol
Colonel_SoB_fan
I worked in there Friday and thought it was fantastic. The extreme amount of fog I experienced made it hard for me to go from can to can.
coasterfanatic83
I was confused by the concept of it. Is it just a path from carnevil to holiday horror? Is there an actual maze? It confused me...
jcgoble3
It's not a maze, it's just a walk-through attraction. The nice thing about that is that there's no waiting. You do have to pass through Nightmare Alley to get to Holiday Horror.
upstop
It is what a scare zone should be. At Busch, Cedar Point and Universal, the scare zones are paths between mazes that are themed and the actors blend in with the crowds. Kind of like a maze without the wait. I thought Nightmare Alley was cool and I hope they add more zones like it in the future.
coasterfanatic83
Ok. I was wondering if I was missing something or not... Lol. But yeah, when I walked through I was not scared a single time, like the actors weren't really trying. Kinda disappointing, but I do think it iwll be better this Saturday
RingMaster
Where are other roamers located at, or is Nightmare Alley the only spot they have to roam (Cemetery in Int. Street not included)?
Colonel_SoB_fan
there are roamers throughout the park
XGatorHead 8904
Besides Nightmare Alley in PS and Cemetary on IS, there are roamers in AZ, Coney Maul, and I believe there are even some in Rivertown.
LongLiveTheSmurfRide
I'm sorry to say that my wife and I were pretty disappointed with NA last night. The lasers were cool, but there seemed to be more people acting like circus performers or dancers than scaring. Also, I think a good Fright Zone should be in an area that gets more traffic. Like at CP, their Fright Zones were mostly in areas where you had to walk through to get to another part of the park (or at least that's how they were when I was there last). You only go through NA if you want to go to Holiday Horror, so not many people seemed to be going through, and since we had done HH before NA opened, we just walked through and turned around and didn't have anyone try to scare us once (this was around 11:45 PM). I think the set up was cool, but maybe would be better somewhere else, like Coney Maul or that path that used to be used for the Work Zone? Or the path from River Town to the Eiffel Tower? I don't know, the current location just doesn't seem to work other than the atmosphere with the Carousel running.
Cpt Crunch
I liked Nightmare Alley a lot. The name is unrelated to the circus theme, but other than that, several people scared me, and I heard a ton of screams walking through it. I really liked how the carousel was running with no one on it!
rotag
when i went through friday, i saw CRICKET DA CLOWN! & he pointed out in the sky what he called A HELLICHOPTER!

Roarbot
I like the girl who is always owling on one of the boxes. Very cute.
Bonks
I liked Nightmare Alley very much. It would be very cool if they added a few more areas like this on other walking paths throughout the park during haunt.
muppetfan1999
It was actually a lot more impressive than I thought it would be. I honestly thought it would just be a really basic scare zone with a few fog machines and guys walking around in costumes but It was actually pretty impressive for a first time actual scare zone. (I think, please correct me if I'm wrong) I thought there was a good amount of fog, the music was nice and creepy, I thought the lasers were actually pretty cool if you saw it the right way, and I actually got scared a few times. coaster_junky
i love that song, except for the fact that it has been stuck in my head ever since friday night!
Snowman
Nightmare Alley is very cool, all the scare actors were great! Don't miss this, and don't miss Holiday Horror either.
Tanna
I liked it, I knew what it was supposed to be, and I liked where it was placed. Like the movie "Something Wicked This Way Comes" there's an innate creepiness to carnivals. I'd like for it to be a bit larger, but for the first year, I think it added to the area. BoddaH1994
I thought the lasers and stuff were neat the first couple of times through. I went through on Friday and thought everything clicked together really well. I loved the drunken clown that acts as a barker. It's my favorite addition to Haunt this year.. up there with the new decor on I Street.
Creed Bratton
I really liked NA. Love the carousel running with no one on it.
jdawg1998
I love NA but I think the space between Snoopy Boutique and Holiday Horror is very empty. Just some fog. A couple of lasers would do well and some more scareactors. But from the entrance of Planet Snoopy, it is great. (Also, there needs to be an easier way to find Holiday Horror!) ScareSupreme
I love NA but I think the space between Snoopy Boutique and Holiday Horror is very empty. Just some fog. I agree and wish I had more scareactors to bring to it. We were originally supposed to go even further past the snack shack toward Holiday Horror but scareactors were thin so I tried to concentrate efforts more from the Planet Snoopy arch to the Horse-Trainer at the "end" (at the horse skeleton). Maybe next year we'll be able to add more - but I think we had a great first season! How does everyone like the addition of "Big Daddy" on the microphone at the arch? I think he's the perfect touch
upstop
KI needs to close some of the pathways to force people through some spaces to create new "scare zone" pathways. Its much more cool when the actors blend in with the crowds and sneak up on people.
Tanna
I really liked NA. Love the carousel running with no one on it. Wish they could temporarily spook up the big carousel, and let it run. Reminds me of "Something Wicked This Way Comes".
