CedarPointer Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 the employees have been a lot more nice and informitive. They even answer my questions(record) when i say when sob gonna open You're asking questions that you already know the answer to? I'm sure they really appreciate that. Hmm... people seem to be making less pointless topics recently! 1 Quote
Original Posted July 15, 2012 Posted July 15, 2012 I've noticed a lot of threads on this forum always turn negative. So I decided to make this thread so that we can all share happy, positive things that happen to us at/around/regarding Kings Island. I'll go first. I like the night staff on The Beast. They work very efficiently, and always seem very happy, even though you know they want nothing more than to go home. I also like the Flight Deck staff. It seems like they are always super-enthusiastic and I always have more fun because of it. In short, I like when ride-ops are upbeat and fun. FINALLY. Someone with a good heart. Somtimes when I post stuff, people can get so negitive. We are all here for the same reason... to talk about KI or other parks..... 3 Quote
The Interpreter Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 It's time to add to this thread: Banshee is incredible. The new show is, too, by all reports. I need to get back to see it. The employees are cheerful, professional and dedicated to guest satisfaction. Today is Coasting For Kids! 10 Quote
faeriewench Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Father's Day isn't until June 15th...unless the park has something going on...I'm out of the loop as far as KI goes. o_o Something good in my life? .....well my flights for LA in August are booked. Does that count? 3 Quote
The Interpreter Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Yes, it counts. How could it knott? And thanks. 4 Quote
LoraX Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 I have met people from this site that will sit here with me while it's raining and my daughter is doing CFK. In fact, I've met friends on this site that have allowed us to share hotel rooms, their homes, split the cost of gas and so much more. There are some very kind and nice people on this site. shark6495 Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 I have actually never met anyone from here Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2 Quote
BB1 Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 Wait this thread STILL exists?! Wow, time flies in just 2 years, what a silly BB1 I was way back then. I'd like to give compliments to Don Helbig and all that he does at Kings Island! 8 Quote
Guest dtk1376 Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 I haven't met anyone here yet either as I am still kinda new to the site, but everyone has seemed to be really nice here so far. Looking forward to participating in one of the official or unofficial KIC days in the future. 6 Quote

jcgoble3 Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 The ribs at the Reds Grille are HUGE: That's NoChickens's hand in the picture, to give you a sense of scale. Transmitted from Wild Space via my datapad's DROID brain 10 Quote
The Interpreter Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 That's what Devan said, as his lunch companion somehow demolished the entire rack, albeit slowly. Burp. <oops> 6 Quote
Guest dtk1376 Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 I compliment all the KI public relations people that have been having to field questions about the status of Drop Tower without knowing much about what's going on other than it's down. 3 Quote
The Interpreter Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 I compliment Drop Tower for opening. That's very nice of you. I'm sure now its mood has improved. I'd heard it had been down. 7 Quote
Ride On_17 Posted June 8, 2014 Posted June 8, 2014 I compliment every user on here for contributing to fun discussions and speculations. (Cliché, I know, but it's true.) 8 Quote
thedevariouseffect Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 That's what Devan said, as his lunch companion somehow demolished the entire rack, albeit slowly. Burp. <oops> Next time it's on me, and we'll have to have a rib eating contest, I've had them since our visit, they're quite tasty. Quote
Banshee Back VII Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 I compliment Werner Stengwl for designing Millennium Force. 2 Quote
homestar92 Posted June 9, 2014 Author Posted June 9, 2014 I compliment Ron Toomer for turning coat hangers into wonderful, artistic devices of thrill and amusement that would entertain and excite millions of people for decades. 7 Quote
Guest FersureShelbi Posted June 9, 2014 Posted June 9, 2014 I haven't met anyone from the site being new to it but everyone seems very knowledgeable about all things Kings Island and I love gaining their knowledge. It makes me wish I lived at least an hour or so closer to the park. Also those ribs posted by jcgoble3 have made me extremely hungry because they look delicious. 6 Quote
stashua123 Posted August 6, 2017 Posted August 6, 2017 I compliment this site full of amazing people whom without you guys being in my life I don't even know where I would be right now. 9 Quote
KIBeast Posted August 7, 2017 Posted August 7, 2017 On another topic I created, I had a very pleasant experience with guest services. I had bought the Coaster Combo tickets, took my trip to KI, and then accidentally threw out the tickets before I had used them on my trip to Cedar Point. They looked up my purchase, shot me another email with the link to print off the tickets again. I was really thinking I had blown it. 5 Quote
Zexeos Posted August 7, 2017 Posted August 7, 2017 I'd like to use this time to give a shout out to CoasterBob62 on youtube - he makes the best KI videos. IÂ wonder if he ever reads these forums... Also another shout out to everybody on these forums, I have yet to meet a rude person here and everyone's been so nice, love you guys <3 5 Quote
JubJester Posted August 7, 2017 Posted August 7, 2017 ^ CoasterBob62 is an even greater person in real life. Met him a year or so at Kings Island and had a great conversation. He seemed to direct the conversation more than me. Awesome guy! 4 Quote
Zexeos Posted August 7, 2017 Posted August 7, 2017 Really? That's awesome to hear, I'm glad he's a great guy! Â Maybe I'll meet him one day! 1 Quote
