Oldiesmann Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 Decided to bring this up as it's been more of an issue for me lately than in the past... Is there a reason we can only like 3-4 posts per 24 hour period, or is that just the default limit that the developers of this software have set? It's a bit annoying for me because I often forget to come back and "like" things when I do have more "likes" again, and also it could cause a "backlog" of sorts 9
Voicetek Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 I agree! I think 3-4 likes is ridiculous. I can see not wanting to give people unlimited likes, but we definitely don't have enough in my opinion. I think like 10 likes per 24 hour period would be more realistic. I too forget to come back and like posts the next day. I'd rather just have some more up front. 11
CoasterGeek101 Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 Where are the dis-like buttons? I would use those a lot too. 9
BB1 Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 I would like your post but.... I think a minor update to KIC with more likes (10), and a quicker "recharge" time (8 hours) would be great for the forums. 7
Anonymous KIC G.M. Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 May I have your attention please. The daily "like" limit is now unlimited. Enjoy. 20
Browntggrr Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 The so-called harassment machine just went into overdrive. Ok- it's true! 9
Voicetek Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 Ok now who is this new KIC G.M? I don't know, but he came out of nowhere and is able to offer unlimited likes? His avatar is kinda creepin' me out though 3
Colonel_SoB_fan Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 ^ A Dell laptop. Where's your proof? Name your source. If not I will believe it is an ACER computer. 5
beastrider97 Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 A new sheriff in town! I'm not quite sure there's enough room for two admins in here! I'm anticipating a shootout at high noon between Dane and Anonymous KIC G.M. and Avatar. 4
Browntggrr Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 ^ A Dell laptop. Where's your proof? Name your source. If not I will believe it is an ACER computer. Ever watch Monday Night Raw? 3
ohiocolts Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 Who is Anonymous KIC G.M? He let me have unlimited likes. So I like him. 3
LongliveKingsCobra Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 ...this is odd.... First a new topic of likes Second, every comment in this thread has....likes. Third, a 'new' admin (at least that's what he says) I don't like changeeeeeee!! 7
ohiocolts Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 He is a moderator. 1 post and he's a mod. I wonder how this is possible. 3
CoasterGeek101 Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 I think until this thread is closed, every post in this thread will have at least one like. 8
LongliveKingsCobra Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 Doesn't say he's a mod on his profile. Perhaps you can just claim it and you become one? and if that's true well... talk like that could make a revolution happen. I'm a Mod. Now where are my awesome powers? EDIT: never mind...he's on the Mod-team. Perhaps Gordan required help in cleaning the forums...? 5
ohiocolts Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 I didn't know the cleaning meant unlimited likes. 4
LongliveKingsCobra Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 it's a side perk... Like when you clean the attic, and get rid of the family of bats living up there... ...I think I compared all the newbies to bats... and I'm cool with that. 6
dudecoasterman Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 I'm going to take a shot in the dark and say that KIC G.M. was a moderator in the past but he left and came back with a new account. 2
Titan Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 Alright, I've had enough fun abusing the like system... 5
ohiocolts Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 I think I should tell to the KIC world "Hey everyone! If you want free likes, make a post in the "Daily "Like" Limit" thread. Thanks to an anonymous new moderator, we have unlimited likes"! 3
Voicetek Posted July 9, 2012 Posted July 9, 2012 I don't know if I like the unlimited like thing. What's the point of likes if you can just like every post? I think they need to be limited to some number, maybe 10? I don't know. What do you all think? 7
