Except for in 2004, we went with Kerry and Bush won. It's mostly because one year we can vote Red, the next we can vote Blue. Quote

Add them to our 2 Senators and we have 18 Electoral College votes. A candidate needs 270 Electoral College votes to win, so if a candidate wins Ohio's EC votes, it's very beneficial to his or her chances. Quote
