It and Express are in my opinion the last "themed" rides in the park.

I believe the "Totally immersive, heavily themed, dark ride experience" was.

If your referencing "Tomb Raider The Ride / The Crypt" that ride is long gone.

"Heavily Themed, Totally Immersive, Dark Ride Adventure!"

I am definitely expressing interest in the FoF photo and am one who is more than ready to see some more photos.

My bad Topgun1993, didn't read correctly that you were referring to operating rides. Then yes, you are correct.

Jeez, I have never seen the building in it's former state...but dang, it was beautiful! Compare that to Hank's today and it's pretty mediocre.

Same for me, that is a first of seeing that building as it used to be. I never actually remember it looking like that.

I seems to be a reoccurring theme, everything at the park today is pretty mediocre when compared to its original/former state.

Lets see if anyone can guess what this is from, before I explain the photo.

Funny part is i know exactly what that "capsule" is cause my parents have one in their back yard- its a pool filter minus the pump :-)

You can thank that little bunny right there for scaring me for life when I was 4.

KI needs to see if its practical in moving Cedar Point's "Paddle Wheel Excursion" themeing pieces to KI.

^ Why does everyone assume Don does everything?

He's a great guy, but jeez.

Gosh I loved the trams when I was younger and I loved trying to remember which "cartoon character" row we parked in. Scooby Doo row 3, Fred Flinstone row 4, Huckleberry Hound row 5...ahhh, those were the days!

Probably b/c he's the only one that we know for sure reads this forum and responds back that has connections to the higherups in the park.

I doubt anyone assumes Don does everything, but everyone assumes he knows somebody who handles all the various aspects w/n the park.

I know this post is just a tad late but I am so happy you are doing this again...I absolutely love when you post these topics every year. I may not comment too much on them but I sure do love looking at the pictures and thinking of how I remembered Kings Island as a little kid

Those trees really liven the area up.

Photo #23 - Flying Dutchman

I wonder if it would be a "good" marketing strategy to "bring back the classics" in lets say bringing Flying Dutchman back from Kentucky Kingdom and Flying Eagles back from Carowinds.
