PhantomTheater Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 It and Express are in my opinion the last "themed" rides in the park. I believe the "Totally immersive, heavily themed, dark ride experience" was. Quote
TOPGUN1993 Posted January 16, 2013 Author Posted January 16, 2013 If your referencing "Tomb Raider The Ride / The Crypt" that ride is long gone."Heavily Themed, Totally Immersive, Dark Ride Adventure!" 2 Quote
Jasper Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 I am definitely expressing interest in the FoF photo and am one who is more than ready to see some more photos. 3 Quote
PhantomTheater Posted January 16, 2013 Posted January 16, 2013 My bad Topgun1993, didn't read correctly that you were referring to operating rides. Then yes, you are correct. 1 Quote

Guest rcfreak339 Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 Jeez, I have never seen the building in it's former state...but dang, it was beautiful! Compare that to Hank's today and it's pretty mediocre. 1 Quote
Jasper Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 Same for me, that is a first of seeing that building as it used to be. I never actually remember it looking like that. Quote

Captain Nemo Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 Jeez, I have never seen the building in it's former state...but dang, it was beautiful! Compare that to Hank's today and it's pretty mediocre. I seems to be a reoccurring theme, everything at the park today is pretty mediocre when compared to its original/former state. 7 Quote
lopan Posted January 17, 2013 Posted January 17, 2013 Photo #14 Lets see if anyone can guess what this is from, before I explain the photo. Funny part is i know exactly what that "capsule" is cause my parents have one in their back yard- its a pool filter minus the pump :-) 2 Quote

Voicetek Posted January 21, 2013 Posted January 21, 2013 Gosh I loved the trams when I was younger and I loved trying to remember which "cartoon character" row we parked in. Scooby Doo row 3, Fred Flinstone row 4, Huckleberry Hound row 5...ahhh, those were the days! 8 Quote
medford Posted January 22, 2013 Posted January 22, 2013 ^ Why does everyone assume Don does everything? He's a great guy, but jeez. Probably b/c he's the only one that we know for sure reads this forum and responds back that has connections to the higherups in the park. I doubt anyone assumes Don does everything, but everyone assumes he knows somebody who handles all the various aspects w/n the park. 4 Quote

I may not comment too much on them but I sure do love looking at the pictures and thinking of how I remembered Kings Island as a little kid 3 Quote

TOPGUN1993 Posted January 24, 2013 Author Posted January 24, 2013 Photo #23 - Flying Dutchman I wonder if it would be a "good" marketing strategy to "bring back the classics" in lets say bringing Flying Dutchman back from Kentucky Kingdom and Flying Eagles back from Carowinds. 15 Quote
