It may have been built 6 years ago, but it's constantly going through changes and some (not a whole lot) of testing.

Which will open first? Flying Turns, Kentucky Kingdom, or Voyage with Timberliners?

Biggest bust of all time? and has been built for six years.....

If you want to talk about that we should take a trip to Busch Gardens Williamsburg....I can show you a space that was once occupied by a roller coaster for 6 years...

It was called Drachen Fire...

Drachen fire is considered a success vs flying turns cause it actually opened.

Biggest bust of all time?

On a KI fan site?

Has FT reached $50+ million yet & been dismantled? Then & only then it can be discussed.

Until then, only one ride easily has the identity of "biggest bust".

SOB was the park's signature ride for at least 5 years and had the longest lines. Everyone raved about it but when intamin & b&m hypers became relevent it made people hate a hyper woodie even more.

Popularity is not proven through long lines.

True "signature" rides last much longer than 5 years aside from the fact SoB's last rides were in 2009 after initially opening in 2000.

That explains a lot.

Tough to troll for a sob topic when I never brought it up. I started topic cause I remembered it being built and read online it still wasn't open.

Not for the first time....

Are you talking this season or in it's life?

Either way, at least their is life in it.

I mean, we could possibly see that Flying Turns opens before the Voyage gets Timberliners.

I have to ask.... is there something that made the original versions of this coaster a ton better than this version? I am happy its open for the reason westcoaster stated above.... a classic is reborn... but I genuinely do not see myself riding this unless its a walk-on. I am not one of those who "must have coaster credits" like Im going to get some prize for them at the end of my natural Life, so I see this as being nothing more than a nice structure to take photos of when I make it to Knoebels.
