austincoffey2 Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 Cedar Fair has now bought rights to the name Banshee
The Interpreter Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 Really? From whom? Terp, who likes to ask questions. 5
UnrealNightmare Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 I see the trolls have left their bridges today. 5
DJSkyFoxx Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 Funny, I remember when Mantis at CP was supposed to be originally named Banshee, but due to its Irish origins of a woman wailing before a death, they opted not to name the ride that as not to cause problems with the general public. I can't honestly see them ever using that name now if they opted not to then...but that's just my view point
The Interpreter Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 And that's almost certainly NOT the reason they didn't use it. 1
DBInternational Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 Or maybe they decided not to name it that because they wanted to use it for something later...
SonofBaconator Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 Looks like someone missed the 'ole train on this one.... 1
jdawg1998 Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 So I guess we're just gonna post a new topic for everything that comes to our mind? Sounds cool! 2
TheBEASTunchained Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 We already have at least 2 other topics already discussing the name "Banshee".....I guess we needed another one now?...Are the other ones to old..? (Lets go start another one too..)
KI FANATIC 37 Posted June 3, 2013 Posted June 3, 2013 Wait they did? I have not heard of this before now!
silver2005 Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 I believe this thread calls for a facepalm. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t44EAsLwGWA 1
The Interpreter Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 I hear it's not open. Sounds like some kind of diversion to me. 4
BoddaH1994 Posted June 4, 2013 Posted June 4, 2013 Please see the "Starting to Decode 2014" topic. It encompasses this. 2
