fyrfyter
In all honesty, I want to know who is actually excited about riding Scooby Doo and the Haunted Castle? It may sound silly, but I am 23 years old, and I rode the one at Para. Carowinds, and it was really neat. Its like a shooter video game that you get to ride on and it doesn't cost extra like other PKI games. That and its fun to see just how good of a shot you really are, when it counts against ghosts! adam12
I will probably ride it once just to say I did. I am 20 years old so it does not intrest me very much. -adam12
shadow2k3
The concept of the ride is pretty interesting. I might go check it out to see how it is. ~Shadow~
AZ Kinda Guy
You'll definately catch me in line all summer. I've always wanted this type of attraction and now we got it!
AZ Kinda Guy
Forgot to mention that I'm sending this topic over to the New For 2003 board.
Dane
I'm not. Oh sure Ill ride it once, but not if the lone is super long.
fyrfyter
When I was at Carowinds last summer, the ride was at least a 35 minute wait all day. Sometimes it was longer, but it was never shorter. I think it will stay quite busy, with people of all ages, much to anyone's surprise. Stitch
I'll ride it once to see how it is then only if i'm really hot of bored
mars1825
I'll ride this if it's like Men In Black at Universal Studios. That ride was so awesome, there was nothing better in the park. I just loved it, and now I'm excited to be getting a ride like it.
Stitch
I would ride it alot more if it was MIB becuase of the creatures but Scooby Doo lost it's greatness to me a few years ago.
matt3224
I am excited! I get the pleasure of working on this ride all summer long!
matt3224
One thing for sure... It will have a long line once the park is in the reg. season. The hottest thing besides Nick cartoons is Scooby Doo, and to see the popularity of Scooby last year at the park, it will be flooded with people. DanielRadsgrl
I am so mad because they destroyed an original ride I loved that ride it was kinda dorky but hey it was cool because I had good memories . But there is absolutely nothing I can tell the kids I baby-sit that I rode when I was her age.
fyrfyter
Get over it. Scooby Doo draws crowds and that is what the park is all about. I think Scobby will be lots of fun, because in all honesty, it will be one of the longest rides in the park, and it will also be the only shooting gmae in the park, that is included with the price of admission. Nothing like a ride that is also a game, and an entertaining one at that.
teenageninja
I edited your post DanielRadsgirl. Your comment about Scooby was not family appropriate. Anyways, Scooby is going to be what draws in the money and it will have a long line. Anyways what do you mean you can't tell the girl you babysit anything you rode when you were her age. Last time I checked there were about 25 other kids rides (maybe less, just a guess)

italianchef
Hey I'm 31 years old with an MBA - and I'm very excited about riding Scooby Doo and the Haunted Castle. Though I must admit that for my 30th birthday I had my wife take me to the live Scooby Doo show at the Taft Theater in Cincinnati and we were the only folks there w/o kids. *L* However, I will ride Scooby MUCH LESS OFTEN than I did Phantom Theater because the lines will be SUPER long - whereas I always walked right on to PT - that was its charm and I rode it 3 times every visit. If I have to wait, I'd rather ride The Beast or FoF than a Haunted Castle. Sorry Scooby. Yes, I am super excited about riding SDATHC, but won't ride it that often in 2003 because of the lines. Stitch
Did you know that SF St. ouis is getting the same Scooby Ride that we are.
teenageninja
Actually it's not the same. All of the previous Scooby Doo and the Haunted MANSION (not Castles) are different and not the same at all.
Stitch
Sweet I wouldn't like having a clone I like origonality.
Beastfreak
Six Flags Saint Louis is not "getting" a clone of our ride. They had their scooby ride before ours. I was there last year and it was open. Ours is completely original because we are using a pre-existing layout from PT just rethemeing it. teenageninja
There's is also a totally different theme, probably uses different props.

TowerGuy
I am really exicted. I will get the chance to work on the ride every day. It is kinda cool to be able to watch the ride that you will be working on get built through PKI's website. I can't wait for the season to start.
