mullimann
This is old news. KI security, KI and Mason police followed through and got the guy. But doesn't mean this couldn't have happened at wal-mart, target or even kroger. He's a predator and I'm sure will not enjoy prison when they find out his charges.

loginmike
I wish I knew more about how this person was brought to light. Did a park guest notify someone? I'm glad someone stepped up and took notice and did the right thing.
Snowman
What good would Metal Detectors do? The gun was in his truck. I think the take away from this is if you see someone acting suspiciously or something doesn't seem right, go with your gut and tell an employee.

Thrill_Biscuit
Trust your instincts. If someone creeps you out, shields up! It's okay to inform authorities about someone who makes you feel uncomfortable. They'll use their professional training and skill to observe and, if necessary, engage the individual appropriately.

upstop
After this guy got caught, every single guy going to a park alone is most likely looked at as a suspicious character.

Jr for Birdy
Then who are the other 5%? Really Bro? The grown men who have smoking hot wives but leave them at home to buy pictures of themselves posing on rides solo. TTD-120-420
I, along with four other posters, thought his comment was funny. It was not directed to any one single person, and, again, is his opinion. I don't see why you guys like to jump all over him.
DontWantToWait42mar0
Someone told me about this and I had a bunch of questions to ask about what tipped them off. I now read the article and am still left wondering about much of it.
PREMiERdrum
$200,000 bond? That's awfully low, considering the charges.
UnrealNightmare
He was probably a single guy sitting alone in Planet Snoopy. Never leave your kids alone in a public place. And some parents should learn to dress their children more appropriately for their age. It might help to deter some of these individuals away.
Creed Bratton
Sorry for the bump: MASON —A truck driver who admitted bring a weapon and prescription drugs to Kings Island was sentenced Thursday. Rodney Grisham was sentenced to 36 months in prison for one count of having weapons under disability and one count of drug possession. Grisham gets credit for the 129 days he's spent in jail so far. Grisham was arrested at the park after a visitor complained about Grisham's actions toward his son. Grisham later admitted following and secretly recording children in the park. Grisham was never indicted on any charges for his behavior in the park, but officers found a shotgun and non-prescribed medication in Grisham's truck in the park's parking lot. After sentencing, Grisham told WLWT News 5's Karin Johnson that he thought the three-year sentence was excessive. He told Johnson that he never intended to harm any children.
