medford Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 I got free water from the little exterior stand outside of the Jukebox diner last sunday; don't know if that is open every day or not, I've never noticed it before, but I've also never stepped foot into the Jukebox diner, so an exterior food service station for malts, ice cream, Coke, etc... could have been missed.
The Interpreter Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 Coke is a registered trademark of The Coca-Cola Company of Atlanta, Georgia. It is always capitalized. Let's keep KIC out of trouble. Thanks. 1
Dom497 Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 ^I gonna assume that The Coca-Cola Company doesn't read these forums. But even if they did, they have bigger fish to fry than a fan site. 3
The Interpreter Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 You can assume all you want. I can assure you The Coca-Cola Company DOES pursue these types of matters in forums like these. This is ESPECIALLY the case since Coke is a Kings Island\Cedar Fair sponsor. There is a reason for my posts in this regard. 7
davidw Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 You're still forgetting something... ® DavidW hiding for correcting Terp 2
The Interpreter Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 I'm not forgetting. Registration is only a method of protecting a trademark. It is neither necessary nor sufficient. And, I said it was a registered trademark. And never feel like you have to hide while correcting Terp. He years ago cited a big blue B&M at Cedar Point. I think it was called Millennium Force. 6
RailRider Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 This is why the Trailer Tower came down, once it was sponsored by a non Coke beverage... 4
The Interpreter Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 Exactly. Terp, who well and truly remembers. 3
upstop Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 This is why the Trailer Tower came down, once it was sponsored by a non Coke beverage... ok, I'll bite....what is Trailer Tower?
The Interpreter Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 An offseason KIC attraction from some years back. Its removal was a trademark moment here. 5
RailRider Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 Those were the days... Trailer Towers, Forum Games like PKIC Survivor (I will never forget the picture of Avatar on the beach NSFW) the merger and much much more. I still can't believe I have been around here for over 8 years. 7
The Interpreter Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 I'm VERY glad you have been. One of my highlights has been finding that Mr. Raynor regularly kept up with a certain thread here. I'm glad we met, too.
RailRider Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 The Trailer Tower may have been the Pinnacle of Rampant Speculation and off season craziness on this site. Also that was quite shocking it got pulled the way it did, who would have thunk. Yeah Terpy its been some good times together on these here interboards. 2
shawnofthedead Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 im thinking we should have some kind of party for when you hit 40,000 posts Terp :-) 3
The Interpreter Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 You'll have to tell me. I really pay no attention to post counts. For real. 5
Dms94 Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 Am I the only one who thinks the supports are more purple than blue? They look kind of purplish to mee too. And I'm a Macbook with retina display. Also, Vortex has purple/blue supports, i don't care what anyone says

LordSkippy Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 Well, they really are keeping us up to date. That's nice of them. 9
Existential Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 Off to find that piece of track at the weigh station...and stick some chewed up gum on it.
THE_BEASTmaster Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 There are no weigh stations that are along the way to Kings Island from Batavia. 1
Existential Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 Well...I'll have to bring my own for that joke to work...is what you're telling me?
geebs11 Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 2 or 3 trailers of track going down 2-75 near Loveland! Headed To KI!! Why is the track pinkish/purple in the POVs.... Its definitely maroon...imo
flightoffear1996 Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 I wonder if they got a shipping discount since they are so close to the park.
UnrealNightmare Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 Looks pink to me. :::Photo Credit to CoasterCrew::: And before anyone gets all antsy about trespassing CSF allowed them on the property for these photos. 10
SonofBaconator Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 Looks more red than the renderings and it matches the flatbed a little.
SonofBaconator Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 Double post The track has arrived! From Kingsislandonline 3
geebs11 Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 Looks pink to me. :::Photo Credit to CoasterCrew::: And before anyone gets all antsy about trespassing CSF allowed them on the property for these photos. Maybe the track changes color in the light...who knows. The blue steel looks blue in normal light...but has a purple tint in direct sun. Either way...the track seems a lot darker than the renderings. I actually dug the pink. Going down the freeway it looks almost Diamondback red/maroon
RailRider Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 Looks very dark pinkish to me, almost fuchsia. Remember it will fade somewhat in the sun light. 2
