Bring back attractions/add new attractions

The trains on Blue Fire sit higher and are wider than FOFs cars....There would have to be lots of testing by Mack, and most likely some entry/exit platform and seating height modification...but I wouldn't say it couldn't be done.

Here are cars on Flight of Fear's clone Poltergeist roller.

The originals were a head-bangers ball for sure. Love the ride, it is still intense even though the show-building is kind of a dusty mess now. I loved the original video with the Outer Limits theme.

Just curious, but I remember when you would be waiting on the ramp to go into the building, there was a flashing red warning light at the door....was there an original purpose for this light?...maybe as an indicator for an operator to open the door to allow visitors to Fort Cooper to enter? Kind of a like a part of the show that was never fully realized?

I always envisioned that the door was to remain closed as the group inside would view the show and ride the ride, then a new group would fill the waiting room. Kind of "pre-show-esque"

When the attraction first opened, the first weekend, the lines went beyond The Beast into Rivertown and remained long just about all summer. After eventually giving in and waiting 5 hours to ride....I got off the attraction with a splitting headache and left for the day.

I like the lap restraint, but would much rather have a version like Blue Fire's over-the-head lap restraint. I like to be able to stretch my legs if I can, while riding coasters.

Can you say..."CRAMPS"... I can, especially while riding FOF and IJST.

There are bigger changes coming than have been revealed...and diversions are almost always good things in the park industry.

That all being said, I've probably said too much already.

Shhh...Let me tell you a little story about a man named shhh! shhh! even before you start. That was a pre-emptive shh!

Haha, this made my day.

I love reading/learning about new.....

LOOK OVER THERE!!!

hmmm. makes me think that new paint won't be the only change to The Bat. maybe some new floorless trains??? if its just a paint job, there's no need to add to the Fast Pass system- the coaster was usually a walk-on even on weekends.

The day I went the line was backed up to roughly near SOB's old queue, and I paid $85 for Fast Lane Plus, so I disagree.

One day out of the entire season is a small sampling and one should not completely disagree based on such a small sample. Dwight said usually, which inherently implies that there are exceptions.

For those of us that go to the park multiple times a year, yes, it is usually a walk on. But, I have seen it on several occasions the past few years where there is a rather long wait, which I personally saw twice last year.

The ride was always a walk on the days we went last season (though that only included 1 sunday, which was a busy sunday, everything else was mid week in the evenings). With Banshee opening up, plus the theme/color change, I expect The Bat to have some wait times this season.

It was kind of nice, as our 5 year old hit the 48" mark last season, but we still have a 1 year old, so we could go over in that area, let her out of the stroller, Mom could ride with our son, then about 5 minutes later, I could hope on with our son, all while our 1 year old got some time to walk around and stretch her legs.

I always look at long lines as a way to connect with my friends. Yes, I may not get to ride everything in one day, but there is always another day and another trip to KI...or to any other park. This season, lines will be long all over, so be prepared for the wait times everywhere!

I would love to see KI bring back the water features. There were so many relaxing spots throughout the park where there were fountains, and they are all gone. I think every theme area, with the exception of Action Zone had a fountain or running stream (pre Action Zone there were ponds in the area). Those fountains/streams were nice to just sit down, watch and unwind for a while.

I guess I'm saying I'd like to see atmosphere return to the park.
