New rides: Goliath, Batman, Superman, Texas Giant. I hate Six Flags.

Please list every park with a Texas Giant that isn't Six Flags Over Texas.

Drop Tower, Fight Deck, WindSeeker, Vortex, Eiffel Tower, The Crypt...

Your turn...

Besides WindSeeker, not any of those other rides were built during Cedar Fair ownership.

The day Six Flags takes over the parks...is the day you see alot more safety issues, poor maint. and the parks take a downhill decline IMO

If this were the old Six Flags, then I would agree with you. But I just don't think if Six Flags were to own Kings Island today, we would see a significant decline in the overall park. In some ways, I would prefer SIX over FUN right now, but in other ways I wouldn't.

Yeah I know what you mean. That's one of the things that would annoy me if SIX owned the park.

When I rode El Toro 2 summers ago it was quite unsettling going on a ride themed as a bull, yet stepping into a train covered in gum advertisements. But since it was without a doubt the best roller coater I've ever ridden, I think I can get over it.

The sole negative I see is the amount of commercialism of other brands all over that they practice at the Six Flags parks. Although I see why they do that from a business standpoint.

Biggest thing for SIX that drives me nuts though, branding rides..

I shouldn't be riding a ride seeing stride gum, or snickers

I should be riding a ride seeing nice paint jobs and attractive designs

You mean like when Top Gun at PKI was sponsored by Gillette (with a billboard and everything), or Snake River Falls at CP was sponsored by Pepsi? :-)

Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom was not losing money when it closed. The parent company rejected the lease as a part of its bankruptcy.

And the new Six Flags would not bankrupt Kings Island. The mere thought it might is preposterous.

I agree I was reading a TPR. Trip report *Six Flags Great America* There were trains on Whizzer covered in Movie advertising that had guns on it. I consider Whizzer a Family Ride. It should not feature that. IMO

Still, I don't think it should be in a family enviroment. I'm sure the kids don't pay much attention to it. But still.

Then by all means, avoid Comet's Rockets at Holiday World. Rockets with guns on the front and back!

Cedar Fair did have a say in what they could call their rides. They, of course, chose to use bland chain-wide names.

As an answer to the original question....

I'd see a beagle with a black eye, following a head-bowed kid holding a deflated football, both following a "dressed to the 6's" female black-haired 5 cent psychiatrist.....

.....amongst other things.

I would never bash a maker of fictitious green track or a 3+3 half-mast park. There is some good in everything, so my mother always told me.

If six flags would have bought ki instead of geauga lake at the time ki would have gotten bigger and better coasters.

People ragged on sf's customer service in the early mid 2000's. I never had a problem when visiting the major parks. If you put a cf park in dc it would have violence too.
