CoasterMyths79 Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 I can't find out where I can find someone selling one. Even though there were only 250 made, there has to be someone out there who is selling it! 3 Quote

faeriewench Posted November 17, 2013 Posted November 17, 2013 I honestly don't know why anyone would in some ways right now. 2 Quote
The Interpreter Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 A piece of the track mounted on a commemorative plaque. Kings Island made them available. Also bolts. 1 Quote
JTW Posted November 18, 2013 Posted November 18, 2013 They were for sale shortly after the razing of SoB last fall. 1 Quote

JTW Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 I wanted one but couldn't justify the cost at the time. 1 Quote
Millslite Posted November 19, 2013 Posted November 19, 2013 What are the plaques? It's that stuff that forms on the teeth when you do not brush and floss properly. 9 Quote
CoasterMyths79 Posted November 29, 2014 Author Posted November 29, 2014 Is anyone willing to sell one for this Christmas? 2 Quote
kingsislandfan1972 Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 If I had one, I would never consider selling it because im a Kings Island hoarder, I still have reciepts and tickets from when Paramount owned the park. 4 Quote
westcoaster Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Not selling one but would it not be awesome for the Park and Coaster Clubs put a permanent sign remember Son of Beast ahead of its time first looping wooden coaster was here . 1 Quote
FoF96" Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 I mean they have the not so eternal flame that ran out of fuel and wasn't refilled with the logo and 2000-2009 at the entrance of Banshee. 4 Quote
The Interpreter Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 An appropriate homage to Paramount Parks and that company's attention to upkeep of themeing and even to Son of Beast itself, to be sure. 10 Quote
shark6495 Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 And SOB wasn't the first wooden looping coaster, right? Just the only one at the time with the biggest loop? 3 Quote
The Interpreter Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Absolutely. See, for instance, the Flip Flap Railway. One was even in Louisville. 4 Quote
Dalefan Posted November 30, 2014 Posted November 30, 2014 Someone was selling one on Ebay a few months back, but wanted $200.00 more for it. 1 Quote
kingsislandfan1972 Posted November 30, 2014 Posted November 30, 2014 Speaking of the Son of Beast, I was looking at Cincinnati Ohio Craigslist, and I found somebody selling a Son of Beast metal sculpture. It looks like a Kings Island collecters item, just type in Kings Island and it should be the first thing that shows up. 2 Quote
Magenta Lizard Posted November 30, 2014 Posted November 30, 2014 Wow, that is pretty cool. If money wasn't tight right now and/or I had any personal experience with SoB, I'd be asking for that for Christmas this year. Here's a link to the listing: http://cincinnati.craigslist.org/clt/4782710133.html 2 Quote
CoasterMyths79 Posted November 30, 2014 Author Posted November 30, 2014 ^So is it legit from Kings Island? 1 Quote
Magenta Lizard Posted November 30, 2014 Posted November 30, 2014 Heck if I know I wasn't around for the SoB years. It looks professionally done. 1 Quote
coasterdime Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 I own the first plaque offered for sale. (#11 of 250) If the price is right.... 2 Quote

The sad thing is, people will say anything to sell stuff on Craigslist to get people to buy. That is what you have to look for. Research before buying. 3 Quote
milesharrison Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 I kind of question the authenticity of that. It claims that it's a metal sculpture, but by the looks of those pictures, it looks to be wood.... Only place that I could imagine that to have gone within the park, if anywhere, would be a window display. Seems like an odd sculpture for anything else.Heck, what do I know? 2 Quote
TOPGUN1993 Posted December 1, 2014 Posted December 1, 2014 It's from Kings Island, I took this photo in 2012, and its really heavy...... that is all... 8 Quote
