As one Park seems to be getting rid of all Wooden Coasters?

You need a "neither" option on the last question, otherwise nobody can answer the poll questions without saying one of them will go hybrid (you cannot answer one question without answering all questions).

EDIT: As well as a "no" option on the first. After the SOB debacle, KI may very well never touch wood again for new coasters.

Yea I voted for The Beast on the third question but only because I had too. I don't see them messing with either one. Racer is a historic coaster and still well liked, plus it fits the theme of that area better than a steel coaster would. The Beast is a classic as well that I don't see being messed with either. Not to say it isn't possible for either but I would be surprised to see it happen.

Comparing Six and FUN and assuming we will never see a traditional woddie again is kind of silly. It seems SIX is happy and has a good thing going with their hybrids . Plus, just maybe they had a contract with that company for so many?

On the FUN side of things, look at Gold Striker just last season.

The one that I would vote for which is not an option would be wood coaster like El Toro installed at KI.

Yes, I would like to see a prefab as well. I have never ridden one myself. The only thing that concerns me with FUN about that is "Intamin Coaster" which they don't seem to be doing a lot of business with right now...

I would say after the accident at Cedar Point, Intamin has to figure out a way to regain their customers' trust and confidence. Has El Toro had problems? I haven't really been around any message boards for quite some time, so I'm out of the "loop".

Even though I voted for a traditional wooden coaster for KI, it would be cool to see an original (not an re-tracking of an existing coaster) RMC hybrid come to Kings Island. And I don't think traditional wooden coasters are completely done for, either.

I believe it was shut down for a significant amount of time last season. If I remember correctly, it was because of a lift motor.
