Attendance at SFA Fright Fest was already markedly down. I'm sure this didn't help these final two weekends....

If they remove "great" and "to have fun," then yeah, I totally agree.

I've lived here nearly two years now.

I have a Six Flags Gold pass for 2015, and did for 2014 and 2013.

I love Wild One. It's one of the best wooden coasters in the country.

I live 17 miles away.

I've been there once since I moved here. Late last season. I've not been back.

That should tell you something.

Wild One and Roar are both excellent coasters, I doubt I will ride them again. I have the added excuse of distance.

I'm still wondering what effect this has had on attendance at Six Flags Great America. Knowing how many people already think various rides closed because people died, I wouldn't be too surprised if some of the general public got "Six Flags America" and "Six Flags Great America" mixed up as well.

Or any Six Flags park for that matter. Rarely do I hear the general public refer to each park by the 2nd part of the name. Usually, its just 'Six Flags'.

In general, the older population refers to SFGam as Great America, and the younger refers to it as "Six Flags"

The exceptions are Great Adventure and Magic Mountain, which locals typically refer to by those names.
