BeeastFarmer
So, this happened recently: http://www.wsoctv.com/news/news/national/3-women-brawl-epcot-caught-video/nm64N/?ecmp=wsoctv_social_facebook_2014_sfp <sigh>
shark6495
Ugh. Probably over something stupid and neither side could keep their mouth quiet before it escalated into this. This is one of the reasons I try to ignore groups of people who try to cause trouble. I don't want to be involved in any fight Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Browntggrr
The happiest place on Earth? Well..... only if you can use an umbrella like the Penguin.
MarketingExpress
Kudos to the Disney cast member for his handling of the situation.
marth555
Technically the happiest place on earth is in California while the most Magical place on earth is in Florida
Browntggrr
Give me an umbrella. I am going to beat someone with it.
TheCandyManCan
Probably arguing over the fact they had to communicate with eachother like normal humans versus walking around with narcissticks all day.
upstop
High temps....long lines.... and short tempers don't mix well. If I'm not mistaken, the area before where they were standing was where you set up your vehicle type. Im guessing someone finished creating their car and moved ahead of someone, and line cutting occurred.... still, the whole argument must have been going on for a while as the person holding the camera/ phone had time to record, and the employees were there in a split second when the fight broke out. Good thing it was only a few people. It could have ended up much, much worse than it did.
Delirium13
Such a shame that things like this happen, probably over something completely stupid. Great job by the cast member though.
Thrill_Biscuit
"I slowed the audio down. It goes something like this: "Intamin?! Why, that's balderdash, I say!" "Really? And whom do you think is the better, pray tell. Vekoma?" "You insult my intelligence, madame! Perhaps a wallop from my handy umbrella will teach you!" "Ah, touché! However, my hairspray is an effective armour all unto itself, so Ha to you! Ha, and a pox!" "Vixen! Abast! Or I shall swing once again!" "Swing, I say! And see how fit thou findst the floor!" The rest is inaudible."
The Interpreter
And that font is completely unreadable on mobile. Completely.
Thrill_Biscuit
Ironically, it's Comic Sans. I changed it to Arial. You should get better reception now.
The Interpreter
Which has been complained about for years here. Thanks for editing!
upstop
Did anyone else notice that one of the people in the video, a man in casual tourist clothes separates them, and one of the the fighters tells him to get off of them (a little more colorfully than can be printed here). He yells back " I work here". Do you think he is some kind of secret security? He ushers them out with the test track employee.
jsus
That sounds very Disney indeed. Surely it's all part of the magic, that you never see the security presence.
upstop
I guess we can call them Q-5-O.
Voicetek
Wow, wait amazing role models for their children. Some people really need to learn to practice self-control, especially when our in public. The scene that was caused in that video was just completely uncalled for and crazy. I have no words.
Gabe
Noone was arrested, no charges were pressed, noone was escorted from the park, noone was banned from the park for a set amount of time. Disney is saying nothing as is their right, given that the incident took place on private property. Once cooler heads prevailed, I'm sure Disney quietly let them go on their way.
jsus
Noone was arrested, no charges were pressed, noone was escorted from the park, noone was banned from the park for a set amount of time. Who is Noone what what did he/she do to be arrested but not charged, or escorted or banned from the park?
RailRider
EPCOT's crowd tends to be a bit more lively in the evenings, seeing as many try to drink around the world. Not saying the crowd is rowdy or dangerous, but it has a different vibe than the other parks especially towards the afternoon and evening hours.
Tanna
Fisticuffs! In the John L. Sullivan pose! Honestly, it could have been something as simple as a person stepping on the heel of another's sandal more than once. Sometimes I get irate when the person behind me steps on my heel repeatedly. It seems to be as if they were in the queue across from each other, but it could also an invasion of space. I'm with unstop, it was just a long tiring day. Perhaps they were there just to cool off a bit, but the heat of the crowd didn't help the AC.
