Hello guys i just arrived for my 4th trip to the park this year and I don't know if it's just me being unlucky or if it really is something that everyone has noticed. Out of the four times I have been I have yet to see WindSeeker operate this year. Is there something going on with it causing extended downtime or have I been unlucky?

Ride operations are suspended during high winds or heavy rain.

 

I only just got my first ride on a WindSeeker a couple weeks ago! Try to pick a day when the forecast isn't too windy.

Is this also the case for Drop Tower? It is also sitting idle right now.

I don't know that winds is the case for it being idle today, but I can assure you I've seen the ride shut down many times due to wind

Agree I think it's just timing. I've been twice so far this year and both times it was running. Once early summer and once last week.

Whenever I see WindSeeker shut down first thing I say is "Well, looks like WindSeeker found its wind today". I still have yet to ride it because the few times I have been to the park with my daughter who isn't tall enough to ride it it has been shut down.

So once it seeks and finds its wind, it shuts down because its job is done.

The irony of the name is not lost on me

With some modifications, the can make a much larger version of Canada's Wonderland's new ride on WindSeeker's tower.

Good thing they went with Mondial!   

Through the year I've been able to ride it whenever i had the impulse to. I've done it 3 times this year. . Drop Tower seems like it's been down way more often than WindSeeker
