upstop
Maybe there'll be snow!!!! (and miseltoe and presents on the tree) too.
Magenta Lizard
I'm hoping I can buy a t-shirt with the awesome logo on it. Preferably the year too, in case this becomes a repeating thing.
upstop
I hope they do it up.... Something over the top fun. Maybe a Star Shower alley with Christmas music... I'm going to guess that the event will take place in FestHouse... In there they could use the fake snow machines and certainly show movies. I too hope they sell t-shirts and other Christmas stuff. Maybe they will have Christmas Peanuts characters! Edit: and maybe summer type versions of Christmas treats... Turkey panini and ginger bread ice cream.... Cranberry spritzers and peppermint chocolate.... Growl....

freaks76
Already setting up the Christmas decor. Sigh. I remember a time when Christmas didn't happen till after Thanksgiving. The way it is nowadays, By the time it gets here I'm just glad it's over. Doesn't help my better half likes to start so early. And the movies I see so many Christmas movies I can't hardly take it.
freaks76
So as soon as I get done posting my rant. I walk in the living room, and what is my wife and youngest watching?? A darned Hallmark Christmas movie. Errrrr.......
Magenta Lizard
Yeah, the Hallmark TV channel is having Christmas in July too
Tr0y
Christmas in July at Ki? Meh, I won't be attending that. I think the park should plan a Pokemon GO day, that would attract a lot of crowds young and old.
Skyrider
I am going to wear my "Bring Back Winterfest!" t-shirt to the event. Anyone else going to?
Magenta Lizard
Don't have one, but I'll probably wear Christmas t-shirts the two days I visit that week. I talked to Don Helbig on Thursday at the park, and I don't think any of this is privileged info. The breakfast with Santa will be held in the Festhaus between (IIRC) 8 and 10. There is no discount for meal plan holders, because they want to somewhat limit the number of people taking part in the event so all the kids will have a chance to give their lists to Santa. I didn't ask about the movies because I assumed they would be late at Soak City, like the Dive-In Movies, but I realize I may have been mistaken there.
KIfan73
Call me crazy, but I think this is one of the more inventive events the park has come up with. Â I'm really going to try to be there for it next week.

Creed Bratton
Are there any pictures of preparations already taking place? Would love to see them!
King Ding Dong
I think when Santa finds out he can't fit in the test seats there are going to be a lot of people who unexpectedly will find themselves on the Naughty List.

BeeastFarmer
It surprises me that grammar mistakes would make it on the website:  "FREE Christmas Movie'sWatch some of your favorite Christmas Movie's from inside the park!  Movie's start at dusk in Showplace Theatre. The Interpreter
You wouldn't like our work cafeteria. At least four different turkey dishes every day. Turkey hash for breakfast, too. Turkey must be cheap right now. One day they had Turkey Yum Yum Soup. Whatever THAT is.

Magenta Lizard
Some pics Most of the decorations are limited to International Street, but some of the associates have cool t-shirts and the gate staff were wearing fun hats.
