gforce1994 Posted August 22, 2018 Posted August 22, 2018 First off, ewww. Second, what would a theme park have to do to get the eatery running again? Third, this would make a great HHN attraction. Thoughts? Quote

bjcolglazier Posted August 22, 2018 Posted August 22, 2018 Florida is pretty gross honestly. Friends that live there tell me this. It's just the climate. Roaches and all kinds of other insects everywhere. Pretty sure every eatery and motel/hotel (and many homes) has to keep a constant treatment plan in place and it can still go bad. That said, businesses have to deal with it accordingly. 2 Quote
JubJester Posted August 23, 2018 Posted August 23, 2018 For some reason I'm envisioning Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory when I read this. Especially the scene in both movies with Augustus Gloop falling in the river and getting stuck. Quote

Bugs, including roaches and all others, are really bad with their climate and have to be sprayed for and kept up on constantly. Their apartments usually have routine fumigations and such scheduled as well. It is kind of gross to think of roaches in a food area but it's something that is fairly common or easy to happen in that area. 1 Quote
AintNutinElse2Do Posted August 25, 2018 Posted August 25, 2018 No matter how good the restaurant even good vendors can send you infested produce on thankfully rare occasion. Anytime there's mass produced food contamination becomes a possibility. Not something to desire to think about but it happens. Good restaurants react accordingly but most all have to react. 1 Quote
Captain Picard Posted August 25, 2018 Posted August 25, 2018 Seems there is a double standard when it comes to park roaches. I recall Six Flags had a cockroach eating contest. 1 Quote
