flightoffear1996
This is really interesting. I have been into theme parks/amusement parks for years now and never new about this! Would love to find out more information about this place. https://www.onlyinyourstate.com/ohio/cincinnati/forgotten-amusement-park-cincinnati/
CoastersRZ
I can dig up some information on this. I have a book that details some of these long lost parks. There was also Chester Parkm which was a main competitor to Coney in the 1920s. Sometime this off season I will detail the history of some of these long lost parks. Oldiesmann
I live about 10 minutes from where Chester Park was, and there's nothing left of it save for a street. The only real reference to it is the name of the Cincinnati Water Works complex that occupies part of the former Chester Park site (it's known as the Chester Park campus). There was another topic about Ludlow Lagoon a while back:
beastfan11
The Lagoon was right up the street from where I live now! A lot of cool history.
RaiderLAS
Very interesting! I always love seeing all the parks we used to have around here. My hometown (Dayton) has had it fair share of parks as well! This one reminds me a lot of Lakeside Amusement Park, which used to be where the 35 connector runs now through the west side of Dayton. Very cool!
