KIghostguy Posted November 15, 2018 Posted November 15, 2018 New blog post up, this one on Firehawk's last flight. Bring your tissues for this one (just kidding). http://kingsislandghosts.blogspot.com/2018/11/Firehawks-final-flight.html 3 Quote
Shaggy Posted November 15, 2018 Posted November 15, 2018 Have they actually started removal/demolition? I haven't seen any pics, but then I've been off the board for a week, so I could have missed them. Quote

CoastersRZ Posted November 16, 2018 Posted November 16, 2018 We will be able to tell next Friday when the park opens for Winterfest. There will obviously be some new walls up by Flight of Fear. But you should be able to tell at least if some of the high stuff has been removed. 1 Quote
MDMC01 Posted November 16, 2018 Posted November 16, 2018 Good stuff, @KIghostguy! I like that you got pictures of the exit as I never took many pictures of the queue as of late (as when I did ride, my stuff was in a locker). Quote

If it does get removed, who's to say it won't stay onsite for the time being? Parts of King Cobra were left to rust on the property. http://travthescumbag.blogspot.com/2010/07/kings-island-history-king-cobra.html 2 Quote
Outdoor Man Posted November 16, 2018 Posted November 16, 2018 As I recall it came down in a matter of a few weeks at Geauga Lake. Quote
BoddaH1994 Posted November 18, 2018 Posted November 18, 2018 They said on Twitter that they were focusing their efforts on WF and updates on FH would come afterward. This doesn’t mean they aren’t working on it, but it does mean you won’t see photos for at least another week. It is the correct course of action. The last thing they want is for everyone buzzing about FH being removed when Winterfest opens in 5 days. 1 Quote
