Driver8rws
FYI, they put the "6ft spacing tape marks" in the turnstiles about 10-12ft apart to try to stagger the people in the line right next to you. They are not leaving a lane open, but that is what we thought after seeing the video a few weeks ago.
IceePirate
I'm curious, is Orion running 3 train ops today? Or is it just 2?

From my experience, Orion can be a little touchy, so just some hiccups that will be smoothed over as the day goes on.

I'm guessing the reservations are much more about people thinking they can't get in. Haven't heard of them being enforced anywhere (Six Flags, Dollywood, etc). Probably staggers the line well enough since enough people think they can't enter earlier.

After that I'm calling security. There is no excuse for that level of stupidity. None. I'll give the general operations of the park a lot of leeway as they stumble through this new normal. I fully expect slow and uneven food service, ride operations, etc. And that's fine. But pandemic safety enforcement should not and cannot be a stumbling block. If you are so worried about it then stay home. You are not going to get 100% of the people to do things like they should. We have been experimenting on how to were a mask and not have our glasses fog up. We have yet to figure something out. I assure you that I will be taking my mask off often just to get my glasses to defog. So now they are forcing me to put my hands on my face FAR more often than if I didn't wear a mask. 2

BeastieFanatic
honestly, Ive been waiting so long for a KI giga, and then watching construction everyday, and then having the opening date pushed back, at this point waiting in line for a few hours is nothing to me

malem
The wait times thread would be a good place to post dispatch time observations, though a post for every cycle is probably more information than we need. When the general public is loaded onto a new ride for the first time, patience is a virtue.

Good job KI and everyone who is abiding by the markers.

No. I'm going. Those that can't follow instructions are the ones that should stay home. People like you that occasionally adjust their mask aren't the ones I'm concerned about. Though as a previous poster mentioned, I'd be lifting up the glasses to defog them not the mask. For your next trip though, pick up some defogging solution on Amazon. Works great! Granted, if the park is full of idiots than we'll just leave. But from the reports I'm reading that shouldn't be necessary.
