I think they got ripped in the storm that night. They’re using them as part of those giant lantern-looking set pieces near the stage now.

Haha.. I don’t know but I kinda like them. Almost like it’s an Easter egg for each event.

They originally appeared at haunt with the various mazes featured in each around the tower. They’ve been wheeled out for carnivale AND Winterfest with different graphics in them. I feel like they look more and more like giant trash cans! 

On the subject of the “big lanterns”, I have to give myself credit...from the moment I first saw them at Haunt, I thought to myself...self, the park is going to roll these out every chance they get. (Not that it is necessarily a bad thing...but I could just tell that the park spent too much money on them just to use them during Haunt.)

I noticed they added lights and intelligent lighting to the bandstand. That implies to me that he, or something, will be there in August for evening shows.
