Wow! Great shots! I love the pics of The Bat, Bayern Curve, Zodiac, Skyline, Monorail, Tumble Bug, Der Spinnin' Keggers. I would like to see the Smurfs as well.

I do I have loads of pictures of the smurfs when they were at the park but sorry I cant post them on the web they are in my KI photo book at home but any who yeah great pictures.

Glad you like the photos the reason their are no Smurf pictures is that the pictures you are looking at are from 1981 and the Smurfs did not come till 1984.

The Log Flume... sad.gif

One of those photos I believe is mislabeled.

One is labeled as being part of KCKC, when in reality it is an ariel shot of Kings Mills Log Flume, now known as the Wild Thornberries River Adventure.

Yep, you are correct PKI Diana. Here is the picture in question. It is no doubt the Kings Mills Log Flume, not Kenton`s Cove Keelboat Canal as the caption states.

Didn't Kings Mill Log Flume have a hill with two lanes?

Yes, but two lanes ONLY at the hill....

Edit: TRTR is correct. I misread the answers. KCKC had the double chute, not Flume. Flume had one chute, isn't as tall as KCKC was, and most of the track was lower to the ground, instead of being up in the tree tops.

Kings milll flume/ wild thornberies never had a double chute it does have a dual station though, KCKC always did have a double chute.

I dont know how to look at the photos. it wont let me. I started an account and everything

N/M i found them and they are AWESOME!!! biggrin.gif
