RollerNut
well it does seem blue and is that award to me?? im really a nice guy and my IQ is 134 ill see u all next year when i start working at pki and ill see u in the park Now, that would be a problem. If he acts as bad in front of the interviewer(s) as he does in front than he will never work at PKI.
Captain Nemo
Let's get back on topic.
Delirium13
Cool pictures! I think it's really cool seeing the park in the offseason!
Hank
Nice shots, as are all of your pictures. Somewhere in all the pictures, I saw a couple of Vortex. I know that some of it was painted recently, but did they ever paint the entire coaster? (due to surgery, I was unable to visit the park last season) Also, when was the last time The Racer got a paint job?
AZ Kinda Guy
Egh..Show me something I haven't seen with aerial shots of PKI then I'll be impressed. You can only take so many pictures of the same thing. As for the tarp, it's there to shield the maintenace guys from the elements while they work on that section of track. Notice the fresh wood above the tarp leading into the second hill. Oh and that man lift is there year-round Bobby. Drop Zone wasn't running either. It's called maintenace mode. CYoung2003
That so called "tunnel" on SOB is (like what was said earlier) nothing more than a bunch of tarps, its for maintenance when they are doing track work. They had it up on the rosebowl last year when they were working out there. Sorry guys, no tunnel is coming in the near future to the son. Captain Nemo
This just proves that PKI during the off-season makes major changes.
AZ Kinda Guy
It's not a major change...It's called track work.
HabloRM
This is awesome! I can't wait for the new tunnel! Edit: I forgot to add my smilie. Edited February 22, 2005 by HabloRM

HabloRM
I know beggers can't be choosers but it would of been neat if he were of gotten closer to IJ.

True, but there isn't really much you would have seen that the park supplied updates wouldn't have offered.
flightoffear1996
Yea that may be true but you would at least get a better idea of the overall progress.
familyman
I still can’t understand why they couldn’t add a webcam like CP did for Maxair. Other than forcing most of us into therapy for watching it too much it would have pacified us.
HabloRM
I'm pretty sure that they want to build the coaster first, and not worry about a webcam.
familyman
it is not that hard to set up a webcam. They have had a couple of them at CP for years. PKI had one up when they were doing the Wild Thornberries ride.
Captain Nemo
I never knew they had a webcam up when that was being constructed.
standbyme
As always, thanks for the pictures. I was wondering if you happened to notice any campground activity. Have they removed the cabins? (There were about 7 of them.) Next time you go up, if you could get a shot of the campground area I would appreciate it. Thanks again. Nothing yet has happened to the campground aria. Most likely we will see some changes during this season.

flightoffear1996
Sorry if you dont want to answer this if you dont want to but how much does it cost your family to go on those flights.
wickedv6
I think the webcam was still up until late last eyar.. never coul see anything on it though
familyman
It's too bad they don’t have it up. IJST is right there! CP fans can watch Maxair being built everyday. Updates anytime they want! There ya go Ben, a nice comment about CP from me.
chaotichazard
PKI should bring back the webcam just for the construction of rides and nothing else.
Jasper
They should bring it back to let us know what is going on on IJST construction.
Captain Nemo
Fuel for a plane is NOT cheap, I won't say exactly how much it is but one full tank can get us to CP and back (That is if the wind cooperates). We don't need to refill the tank every time we go flying. Hope that answers your question. If yho have more questions, feel free to ask me!
