Will WindSeekers last through the decade?

Featured Replies

Whenever I’m at the park, I’m always seeing WindSeeker down. This is nothing necessarily new as there are numerous factors that contribute to its downtime. That being said, do you think WindSeeker (and I guess WindSeekers) will last through the decade or do you think we’ll start to see them phased out or replaced with a more reliable model?

Ours has been very reliable.  When it is down, it is usually due to wind (ironic LOL), the fireworks/drone show, and last year's budget cuts.

I think that if they ever took out these rides they would replace them with something else entirely. I know these were all pretty temperamental when they first opened. And now it seems like they operate more reliably. But I feel that if these were ever removed another kind of ride would take their place.

I think they'll stick around for at least the decade barring any unforeseen circumstances. I do hope though in the future Mondial upgrades the restraints/programming to show what actual seat is not locked.

I don't see why they wouldn't stick around for another ten years. They have had their share of maintenance but so have other rides. For example, every time Drop Tower gets struck by lightning it's usually down for a few weeks if not months.
