While Holiday World consistently retracks it's wooden coasters in the off-season, I'm really excited for this year's project. The Raven is being retracked from the 5th drop to the brake run during it's 31st season. This section has needed some TLC for the past few years as it has been known to have a pothole that would make the end of the ride a bit jarring. The Raven is honestly my favorite wooden coaster at the park.

The Raven is a fantastic wooden coaster! I am looking forward to riding it early and often during Holiday World’s 80th anniversary season.

Do you know if it is being done in house or are they bringing on someone like The Gravity Group?

I haven't seen for sure. I know in the past it's been in house...but either option would be an improvement. I'm hoping for The Gravity Group overall.

I'm very glad parks like Holiday World and Kings Island take care of their wooden coasters as much as they do! There's a segment of the population that thinks it comes at the cost of other new additions to these parks, but it's not an issue for me and it helps keep the park's charm.
