BoddaH1994 Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 Gee that last paragraph makes ya wonder HMMMMMM? lol... It's almost like Jeff gave up on the whole secrecy thing for Winterfest. Quote
familyman Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 Should be no suprise. If they are going to do it having things inside is key. Quote
jzarley Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 I didn't realize that the Chippery wouldn't be back... Quote
RevengeofTheSmurfs Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 Winterfest Brrrr cant wait to see what PKI has in store. Quote
LongLiveTheSmurfRide Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 What would be nice is if they could arrange a Christmas show in the Festhaus like they used to so you can enjoy it while you eat. Those were good times. Quote
Reclaimer Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 I didn't realize that the Chippery wouldn't be back... Ya'know. I noticed the Chippery's absence last weekend and didn't really think anything of it at first. Does anyone know if they'll still be selling this season? I didn't get a chance to try the chips last season and was really looking forward to it this year. Quote
LongLiveTheSmurfRide Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 I'm interested in what the Tower will look like. I always love it when I drive down from Dayton and come over the hills on 741 and see the tower get closer and closer. I wonder if it'll stand out more from a distance now. Quote

TheKlockster Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 You would drive up from KY to go just for Winterfest? I would definately go every day if TRTR and FoF are running. But I am sure the Christmas stuff is fun too. Quote
Alien Seed Posted April 7, 2005 Posted April 7, 2005 Aww man! No stomach-wrenching moments on IJST. Those are the best things about coasters aside from airtime. This thing had better not be too family friendly that it's boring. Quote
Kenban Posted April 8, 2005 Posted April 8, 2005 You know Winterfest is starting more and more to feel like one of those secrets that no one can keep. At this point I would be more surprised if it does not happen then if it did. I just wonder what they plan on doing since they have so few indoor rides. That bit about general admission tickets being good for two days sounds odd but a good deal if you want to only go twice. Quote

This thing had better not be too family friendly that it's boring. With the layout and many head choppers and twists and turns, it appears it will not be too "family-ish". While even though its not the fastest, watching it run almost every night after the construction workers leave, I think it'll entertain many just fine. Quote

I didn't get a chance to try the chips last season and was really looking forward to it this year. Unfortunately, the Chippery won't be back this season. In fact, Bret's e-mail address at ChipperyChips.com is invalid, and I don't think the same person has his cell phone number, so I doubt he's still with the company. Quote

Remember regular parking is $9 you pay an extra six bucks to be closer to the gate. Quote
SixFlagsMasta Posted April 10, 2005 Posted April 10, 2005 which is stupid since it's only like an extra 200 ft..and you'll be walking all day so you might as well get used to it...lol but people will pay it i guess (not me though) Quote
jlopez Posted April 10, 2005 Posted April 10, 2005 Well it might be good for people that need to go to there car a lot. Some people bring coolers and go out to the car to eat. Jennifer Quote
