Just wondering what are some of the dumbest most far fetched rumors you have ever heard about PKI, other parks, or attractions?

One of the Classic Dumb rumors that always seems to surface.

Magnum at CP is sinking in to Lake Erie.

That a little girl died on The Bat when she was flung out of the car. Not exactly sure how that would happen, though.

What I like it seems like every 2 years when Kings Island is going to put in another coaster that The Racer is going out. Ive fell for it a few times...

That's a little harsh. If PKI sold the campsite would they have any say in what happens to the sign? You would think it would be trash at this point. TG1993, I hope you get the sign.

Has Kings Island really just gave anything away? Occasionally, they may action things off, or donate things. other times, it is kept in the park for safe keeping or put up somewhere where only employees gets to see it.

When Opryland in Nashville TN closed, I bought some of the old signs they had. They were selling them in the gift shop because they were no longer stocking the gift shops with merchandise. Very depressing day at the park, because the seasson was about over for good.

PCW has track for a floorless coaster not being installed until 2008. Also what was it PCW is getting the world's longest, most inversion coaster that covers 190 acres.

The dumbest rumor I have heard is "Italian Job Stunt Track is going to be great!" . Honestly, I think the worst rumor is that Son of Beast would be torn down after only a few years in operation.

Some of my favorites from my youth...

--"Some girl" got her head chopped off on The Bat. (Of course, we all know that must be the REAL reason it was removed...not the prototype design flaws); and

--"Some guy" got bit by a water moccasin (sp?) on Kenton's Keelboat Canal, and died from the snake bite.

Of course, there are also those that sound like stupid rumors that REALLY did happen...like the trainer who was killed by a lion in the safari, and the high school kid who fell off the Eifer Tower on grad night.

When I was younger, I was lead to believe that WWC was heavily infested with venomous snakes.

lol^ If there were in any snakes in the water they would get suck up in the water tubes. O and another...water works was on the ine of another state. lol
