I was going to make this a poll but there are too many pieces of themeing to count so I decided to make it a discussion. My favorite piece of Themeing is the Giant Reptar Crushing the Drive In sign on Rugrat's Runaway Reptar. The sheer size and accuracy of it is just excellent. I love it

While the Reptar sign is a great peice of theming I would have to say the gaint Bodah looking thing on the inside of Tomb Raider The Ride. The effects and shear size is amazing to me.

I don't like RR, so why would I like the Reptar. I don't like TR the movie, so my favorite piece of scernery would be anything in FoF.

Heh...here's an interesting tidbit of information about that. The plane in the movie is refered to as a MiG-28. In reality, there is no such plane. All Soviet planes end with an odd number, such as the MiG-29 or the Su-27. The planes are actually American, Northrop F-5 Tigers. Just thought you might like to know!

One more for ya...(this one is for you Ryan!) On the giant Gilette Mach 3 billboard, it shows a plane flying past the aircraft carrier. It's actually a McDonnell Douglas F-15 Strike Eagle, not a Grummen F-14 Tomcat. The F-15 is only used by the Air Force, and does not fly on or off of a carrier....man, am I a dork or what?

WOW you certainly know your stuff my favorite piece of theming would have to be the part of Scooby Doo and the Haunted Castle where the Wolfman is chasing Shaggy around...ahhh I love to be a kid at heart!

I like water effects alot. Such as jumping fountains and such. Closes think to that at PKI is the Fountain.

well my favorite is definitely the Eiffel Tower, but if it's apart of a ride, i'm going to go with FoF, excellant stuff.

I'd have to say that my favorite piece of theming in the park has to be Bubba Gump's. I think they did such an amazing job. In my opinion it's the best eatery in the park.

I like Manderain'd food better, but the theaming on Bubba Gumps is much, much better. Another thing they could do is have music blasting from it.

True^ I do agree with you but when you go into The Nick Store it stinks and its kinda of Hot in there!

For best themed ride...SDATHC. It very much follows the cartoon adventures of Scooby Doo.

For best themed eatery....Bubba Gump Shrimp Shack. It is VERY based on the movie Forrest Gump.

1. Mine entrance with mine cart before the first lift on The Beast and all of Rivertown......gotta love Mine Themeing

2. FOF inside and out, especially outside at night (green and purple lights)

3. Days of Thunder Action Theatre ride......outside ques and in the preshow building, some is still left (Checkboard patterns)-miss ya ORIGINIAL DOT

4. Biohazard logos on SOB-kinda theming

5. Adventure Express when it was all working.

6. Top Gun- when the the extra que area was open, with the sound FX and the crew wore pilot/fire suits that said Top GUn on them

I belive TR:TR has the best themeing in the park. Not so much the que line but the outside, the counting room, and show room. That show rooms got some subwoofers in it that can certainly put out some bass. I think there all JBL's in there.

I think Tomb Raider:The Ride has the best theming in the park.

My Favorite Piece of theming is and always will be The Smurfs Enchanted Voyage,The Smurf Goodies Food Stand where you can still get a Smurfberry Ice cream Cone, The Smurfs sitting on the benchs where you could sit with them.

And the Theming on the outside of the Smurfs Enchanted voyage,The Gaint Mushrooms etc.

I also think the old Mystery Machine was a good edition too. Altho over the years of poor care, it has been banished to PKIUniversity.

how can you guys forget the wild thornberry's ride. the ride sucks but it has some prety awesome theming!

Correct. Those are giant 18 inchers that can move some serious air. Look around the park. PKI uses JBL Pro just about everywhere, from the Paramount and Nick Theater to TR:TR's outdoor cue.

My favorite peice of senery would have to be the stuff on Wild Thornberrys, I just think it looks alot like the stuff from da show......other then that, it would have to be N-Ething in FoF

i must say i love the Shiva (it's not budda guys.. it's shiva i think) on TR:TR that is on the actual ride. this would be the thing holding the fire and ice that flash towards the beginning. it's just cool IMO

This year was the first time I got to ride Tomb Raider. I have to agree with some that this is the best themed ride in the park with FOF being a close second. Now, my favorite park theming that has nothing to do with ride theming is the garden clock. It's always been a favorite of mine along with the fountains.
