CoastersRZ
Try using the search button. This has been discussed numerous times, or you can check out PKI`s Winterfest page for all the details, hours and prices.
Gordon Bombay
Theres going to be Santa's Slay, a new interactive dark ride combining Christmas and Haloween in which an evil santa is on the loose to steal christmas and murder the elves! (Not recomeneded for children under 13) This will be made by the same company who produced Feafest and The guy who played Ernst will be taking part in the show on Friday nights! lostgirl
Killer santa?? I don't think so...The park has been made extremely family oriented so if you want to believe santa is going to murder elves knock urself out...but not at winterfest! Scooby_Doo
Combat are you talking about Bill Goldbergs movie in which Santa lost a bet to an angel and now the deal is done and he can turn back into a Demon?

CoastersRZ
An important note about Santa`s Toy Factory Musical. The show is open by reservation only. Reservation tickets may be picked up on a first come first serve basis at the Reservation Booth on the left side of International Street. I believe this will be the Return Visit Booth, or one of the buildings nearby it. I would imagine this system will be similar to the system in place when IJST first opened the first couple of weekends.

CoastersRZ
Because they are probably expecting lots of people to attend the show. Also, this way, people will be guaranteed a seat in the show, and can spend their time not waiting in line for the show, but enjoying the other treats of Winterfest. I remember from one of the Winterfest`s I went to when I was little (around 1990 when I was 5) that the show in the Parmount Theater had LONG lines. They had the metal barricades set up in the plaza in front of the theater as a makeshift queue line for the show. I remember the line being quite long, and people moving the barricades to cut in front of some of the huge line (not a very good memory about PKI) I`m sure they remember the popularity of this show, and are just preparing for the demand that it will produce. Face/OffJZ
darn, i was hoping for some sort of bobsled ride, maybe next year?!?
CoastersRZ
Umm, definantely a no with that one. Why were you hoping for a bobsled type ride? Isn`t ice skating and all the other festivities the park has planned enough?
lostgirl
yeah they do have ice skating and i do believe it's real ice...ther were installing freezing devices on monday....at least that's what i think they were. Anyway they will have ice skating that musical a parade, meet and greet santa and christmas lights out the wazoo. Some rides will be open like the carosel but i can't imagine anyone wanthing to ride anything fast it's going to be really cold. You can also meet santa at the old imagination station in HB. Kings Island will also have one of a kind unique gifts that would be great for the holidays.
WooferBearATL
See that's the difference with eliminating so much entertainment from the park. Many, Many, Many of the shows had lines. They really were not that bad. Very rarely did you ever get cut off (Festhaus Shows Excluded) after you had waited in line. I think that after this Winterfest Paramount will be a little more familiar with show demands.
flightoffear1996
Instead of making a topic for a simple question if you have a parking pass do you still have to pay for parking?

CoastersRZ
Yes, if you have a parking pass for next season with your season pass, you WILL have to pay the $5 parking fee at Winterfest.
TheKlockster
why wouldnt PKI have it next year?! i meant like a....yea a bobsled type ride or some sled ride hill thing idk I don't think the Bobsled will be open during Winterfest. It is a little cold to be Bobsleding. Dang - we never got to do the PKIC Bobsled Team run did we? I got to do a Vortex/Troika/FOF/Z run - and I know PKIC did a few runs... Man... Good times...
