BoddaH1994 Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 It's a bird! It's a plane! It's Captain Nemo in a plane! Yes it's true, the PKIPilot himself has finally done his thing and supplied you with some much needed birds eye shots of the park going through winter rehab and construction! In this update, you will see shots of Nick Universe, the Great Wolf Lodge, as well as other various shots of our sleeping friend! Click here to see the latest from Nemo's Biplane! Regards, Ryan PKICentral.com - Is it April yet??? Quote
Gordon Bombay Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 Nice Nemo, glad to see some great shots again! Do you really have a bi-plane? Quote
Legend Rider Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 BTW, Flight Plan was a pretty good movie. Quote
cincyboy0830 Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 Nice pics. So whats the status on Son of Beast? I heard earlier that they were getting the track redone. *MY FIRST POST Quote

Stitch Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 King Cobra has some company now, if you look close you can see Ghoster Coaster next to it Quote
RailRider Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 Nice pics, I am amazed at how large Great Wolf is looking. The one in Sandusky does not look near that big. I think it will be a great addition to the park. Quote
TheKlockster Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 Looks like Copters, Squid, Hamtons, Handcars and Screecher are GONE!!!!! I'll miss screecher. As for the other ones... Quote
flightoffear1996 Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 King Cobra has some company now, if you look close you can see Ghoster Coaster next to it I am glad its not all bye itself now. Quote
PkiJake13 Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 In the last picture on the left it looks like part of a campground. Is PKI putting it there so there can be one this season. -Jake Quote
SkootersFan Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 That's the old overflow campground area. Quote
King Bowser Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 Nice pictures cant wait to see NU finished same with Great Wolf Lodge. Quote

pkiboy Posted January 29, 2006 Posted January 29, 2006 OMG IS THAT A TUNNEL ON SOB?!?!? (Joke from a comment made last year) LOL. Great photos Nemo. Quote
TOPGUN1993 Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 I dont see Goaster coaster eather I am looking for ORANGE but can't see it ? Quote
Outdoor Man Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 picture #15.... do I spot some monorail trains in the middle of the picture? Quote
Gordon Bombay Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 ^No, you dont, those are old parking trams, the monorail trains (pre-Bombraider UM series) now reside at Jungle Jims International market in Fairfield Ohio, awaiting their new monorails completions. Heres some pictures I took of the monorail trains at their new home! Quote
Gordon Bombay Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 ^I believe so, they currently have 5 on the transfer track and one on display out by the road right next to Route 4. If you look at picture 15, the cars pictured there are wider and more rectangular shaped as compared to the monorail cars in my pictures. Quote
flightoffear1996 Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 There you go You have a pretty good eye to see that. Quote
Gordon Bombay Posted January 30, 2006 Posted January 30, 2006 Looks like PKI is building a coaster grave yard. Quote
Jasper Posted February 3, 2006 Posted February 3, 2006 ^ LOL They should make that a Pay Per Ride arrangement where you can pat like 5 bucks to take a tour back there and go see the Cobra the Trams and Ghoster Coaster and take pics and everything. That would be awesome. I would pay to go do it. Quote
The Interpreter Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 Yep, you and about three other people a day, max. Thus, why they don't do that! Quote
PkiJake13 Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 Are they going to sell it, they should a small park probably would pick it up. Since it is a small family coaster. -Jake Quote
The Interpreter Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 It is my understanding that it was removed in such a fashion that the only real purpose the track could now serve would be as scrap metal.... Quote
tubaman Posted February 4, 2006 Posted February 4, 2006 I'd buy the coaster as scrap metal and re-build it. Quote
